There's a strange rivalry between Red Bull rookie Robert 'rosie' rosenthal and the Ferrari world champion John Brady .....It seems the Battle for the crown this year, while being the closest in points in years, has a friendly air.

His stomach turns over, that anticipatory swoop he only seems to have around him, which excites and upsets him in equal turn. It's just Leckie, he reminds himself, who can't ever shut up, who wears his heart on his sleeve. Leckie with his clever mouth and his clever hands, looking at Sid like he knows what he wants, but Sid doesn't, he's helplessly caught in the undertow. And he doesn't think he'll be able to swim to the surface.
