Come, Jesus, Come...
We come before You to bring everything that is in our hearts — all our pain, our brokenness, our exhaustion caused by the heaviness of this world, the constant battles, and the darkness that surrounds us! We're tired of the pain and of this long waiting! COME, JESUS, COME!!
We need You right now, Lord! We’re so homesick!! This world is not our home — our hearts long for You, for Your presence, to finally see You face to face and pour out our love on You. We’re so thirsty for You today, Lord — nothing else will satisfy BUT YOU!
Every day that goes by, it feels like our longing for You becomes harder and harder to bear — almost as if our hearts might break. Yet even in the middle of the pain and the struggle, our hope in You burns brighter than ever — because all we know, all we stand on, is this: You are faithful, and everything You have spoken — You will do!

Isaiah 53 NLT 1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm? 2 My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him. 3 He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.
4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.

Matthew 27:27-31 NLT 27 Some of the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into their headquarters and called out the entire regiment. 28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him. 29 They wove thorn branches into a crown and put it on his head, and they placed a reed stick in his right hand as a scepter. Then they knelt before him in mockery and taunted, “Hail! King of the Jews!” 30 And they spit on him and grabbed the stick and struck him on the head with it. 31 When they were finally tired of mocking him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him again. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 ESV 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
