many interests. losing it over all of them current interests include: fnaf sun & moon, the locked tomb, good omens
A, 22, any/all pronouns this blog is just copious and unreliably tagged reblogs, reader beware

The thing about reclaiming slurs is that once you've been affectionally called 'faggot' by friends, loved ones, and amiable fellows on the internet for long enough, you almost forget that it means something else to people who hate you.

Honestly at this point if a stranger on the street yelled "hey faggot!" after me, I'd probably turn around like "what?" like they'd just casually called me by name, and they were only trying to get my attention because they wanted to tell me something, before processing that they're being hostile.

anyone who thinks shouto todoroki is a sweet loving guy to everyone he meets needs to know he would call you a slur. he wouldn’t even think twice about it. you get in the way of him, his friends, or his ability to get food? slur. fuck you

sorry sorry sorry i just can’t stop thinking about shigaraki telling hawks what to do. obedient soldier, isn’t he. keigo would hate him for it. i wish i could explain to all of you the dynamic that they have in my head but i can’t. slave of the commission, hawks refuses to be anyone else’s pet. shigaraki offers him freedom, but it’s freedom only on the surface. keigo wants to fly but accepting this would just be flying into another cage. it’s not that shigaraki wants to dehumanize him, it’s just that he has no idea how to be friends with someone without holding power over them. keigo would be his friend if he weren’t being forced, but he can’t be his friend when shigaraki goes against everything he’s been taught. in another life they might agree on how the world should be run. in this one, they’re doomed to fail no matter what.

okay but there is something disquieting about this urge to cast fan writers as altruists. they give us all this for free!! well, no.

they’re sharing

it’s a key difference in perception. fic isn’t given. it’s shared. it’s part of a fandom community— in which readers are also an integral part.

it’s probably inevitable mission creep from the increasingly transactional nature of the internet and fandom-as-consumerism, which was always gonna happen after corps worked out how much bank there is to make from those weirdo fan people

but like. fandom is sharing. i think we’ve lost that somewhere.

there's a third option apart from either engaging with fandom or only discussing it with a small circle of friends and it's talking to yourself alone in a dark closet for 2 years with the door ajar 1 inch so random passerby of all sorts of different backgrounds and familiarities with what you are talking about can sometimes hear you

that’s what this blog is to me

dabi's hair is definitely all crispy and rough bc of that wack ass hair dye he uses but when he washes it out and finally let's his hair breathe it just turns into the ball of fluff on his head that hawks can't get his hands off
