Description of blog- This blog is primarily gonna be about a ninjago movie fanfic I'm planning on writing, but it might delve into other au fic ideas i have for the show.

●☆● Since I started writing this fic I noticed that I needed help on some plot points and characterization so I made this blog to share facts about my fic and mabye ask for opinions on my ideas in the form of polls. I Don't know how common a blog like this is- ( help me with my fanfic blogs) but here I am! I haven't gotten a name or a description for my fic just yet but I will add them as I go.

Please let me know if anything in my work is offensive or out of place. I want this to be a fun and open blog and would definitely want to know if my posts are causing harm or upset of any kind. My style of joking isn't the best and is kinda odd to be honest, I also use a lot of brain rot terms no lie. So take all my posts with a grain of salt especially if it's a slander post.

Movie lloyd is the type of person to be called "kid" by people his own age.

So I was doing a redraw of a lloyd photo from DR in my style but I was struggling with pose work for it. I didn't want to keep going until I managed to fix what's wrong with it but I can't tell what's off so I was wondering if anyone (artist and non artist alike) could help with it?

Please be nice I'm a beginner with anatomy and I've only done it a couple of times. Trying to draw a an anatomy piece with a lego character as someone who's new to it is really tricky but I've seen people do ninjago redraws all the time so tips on. How to interpret ninjago poses would be really helpful too!

Im suprised garmadon fans don't hate movie garmadon. Now I'm sure there are people who hate him but from what I've seen it's primarily just people who think he's funny or just brings a lot of the best highlights of the film to the screen.

I dont want to slander him but to be honest he goes directly against everything garmadon believes in that is crucial to his well written character.

One of the things that made him so compelling was the fact that he loved his son so much he was activley going against destiny and the evil in his veins just to be with him. Of course you can't run from destiny forever but the fact he was portrayed as the main villian that still had love for his child and It was one of the things keeping him pushing set him apart from characters like Chen who didn't care about anything other then himself.

But in the movie garmadon seemingly didn't interact with lloyd just cause he didn't want too. Their was no destiny or conflict that could have forced them apart but he still chose to be separate from him. The theirs the fact he's imature, not really intimidating and never showed care for lloyd (mocking him, not remembering how old he was or his birthday ect) which feels very out of place for a character like garmadon.

Idk mabye I'm getting something wrong but that's just my take on it

A random fact about each ninja in my movie Au

♡Kai- used to play hockey but quit after his freshman year because "it wasn't his style" now he's on the baseball team.

♡Nya- doesn't know how to drive a car. Only knows how to drive a motorcycle cause she swears it's the only thing she'll drive that isn't her mech.

♡Lloyd- loves naps. Will take a nap after school routinely and if the ninja are driving cars for a mission instead of using mechs he'll fall asleep on their way back to their base. He once made a teir list on what the best places to nap in city were and kokos bed was at #1

♡Jay- makes bird houses that he donates to a retirement home since he knows that the senior citizens their like them. Their all hung up on the walls but nobody knows who's leaving them on the doorstep.

♡Zane- has the most amount of money in the group but doesn't spend it on much outside of culinary equipment and things echo wants. So his bank account is stacked when holidays and birthdays roll around.

♡Cole- gets into detention a lot and always brings snacks with him when he goes. He somehow never gets caught even though half the time he ends up sharing his food with whoever is in detention with him.

Movie garmadon is one if those characters where it's like- I'm amused by him. He's fun and I do think that objectively he makes the film better. But the second I think about his character seriously I remember that I'm a resident of frown town.

Like he's so mean to lloyd?? Like the way he publicly embarrasses him, invalidating his feelings and problems by making it a punchline to a joke infront of his goons, random city people and even the ninja (Aka his ex freinds) would be so hurtful to this teenager.

He mistreated him on Lloyd's birthday!! I can't let that slide.
