My immediate thought:
I took Fizzgig herding for the first time yesterday morning and she successfully learned to flank wider, moved the sheep from one pen to another, started working off leash, learned to turn smoothly, and found balance and stopped and held. All with minimal direction. Instincts are so extra cool when a dog has the full package

Dang girl go off.
take your kids to work day!!
i know i keep harping on it but IMAGINE if they swapped just ONE of the police displays with a search and rescue display. SAR teams are often entirely volunteer run and rely on public support. when you get lost in the mountains or taken by an avalanche, it's not the police who'll come for you - it's probably some guy with his pet lab who's taken some courses and trains on the weekends. public attention and recruitment is vital.
and they don't usually tend to go around maiming suspicious-looking kids, which is a bonus.
