Hi! I saw your post with pokemon au kieth and lance, and I was wondering if u had any other thoughts on that au and their pokemon teams? (is that the right word??) Btw your art's amazing and it always makes me really happy when i see it <333

I unfortunately I haven't actually played through a pkmn game in a few years, but in my hazy memory I think I gave them each half a team so at the end of their arc they can come together and be one of those full-team Battle Couples. (yuck, how cheesy!)
Also i sort of tried to play into the whole lance-is-jealous-of-keith-sometimes bit by giving Keith a souped up team of Cool Guy pkmn. Meanwhile Lance is struggling to evolve his Psyduck and Marill. Eventually he'd be able to turn it into an Azumarill, but I like to believe the psyduck just never evolves and Lance has to learn not every pokemon should be a big blaster powerhouse. Everyone has different strengths :-)
And of course K/L would still be each other's rivals all along. Lots of 1v1 battles still persist.🙂↕️🙂↕️
