When people tell me I am not Christ like it bothers me. Of course it does, because I want to be. I pray about it constantly.

But how am I supposed to take it when a Christian who supports and validates a sinful lifestyle choice tells me I’m not Christ like because I stand against it? How do I pray when someone tells me I’m wrong for telling people to flee from the sin they will destroy them?

Yeah I guess I don’t know anymore.

Don’t waiver, regardless of how hard it gets

God changes lives when you stick to His word, even when you don’t realize it

there’s always someone watching and observing, someone God wants to call into deeper and fuller relationship with, someone who isn’t listening to the Lord or His word

God is calling to them, but they lash out at what they don’t understand because of the disobedience they have towards God and the deception they are under about Gods word and the pride they cannot set aside

Continue to pray that your words line up with His, and that they repent from their sin and receive the revelation you have already accepted, because at the end of the day it’s a stronghold that must be broken by God

You’re doing great, Gods word never changes and to stand by that is remarkable on its own

We are not perfect but sin IS still sin regardless of the culture and time, affirming it will hurt them more than not, it is NOT bad to say it is sin because Jesus would do the same thing in love, HE calls us to repentance

Affirmation ≠ love
TRUTH ( in love ) = love
And in doing that, you ARE Christlike, as Christ calls us to speak against sin and preach repentance and love as well as grace and mercy

🫂🤍 God bless

Do people think that Christianity isn’t a struggle?  That if fighting something you desire becomes too hard, then that must mean you were made that way?

If you’re okay with saying that sin is all right because “it’s 2017!”, “we should be loving and caring!”, and “I didn’t choose this!”, then you might want to stop and figure out what else you’re okay with.  Just how much of what you believe actually lines up with the Bible?  Lines up with what God wants?  If it turns out you’re spitting out the acceptance the world pushes everyone to have, it’s time to meditate in prayer.  And I mean do it in prayer.  The Word.  Shut out the world and make it a one-on-one with God.  Conviction is good.  The word of God is not something that’s going to be flowers and rainbows.  I don’t care what sin it is - homosexuality, pride, gossiping, pornography, that thing you’re trying to defend- if you truly walk with Christ God’s command is going to offend you.  It’s going to hurt you.  It’s going to pierce you in the heart.  You are going to struggle to give everything to God.  You are going to find that it’s hard to surrender every aspect of your life to God.

Stop wasting your energy defending your sin.  In the end, it’s still sin.  And it really begs the question: Are you putting God first, or your sin?  I know full well that there are people who say, “God’s okay with this part of me,” and I know it’s a blatant lie.

Christianity isn’t a religion you subscribe to.  You should strive to, as the Bible says, “Be holy because I [God] am holy.”  You don’t get to pick and choose what’s holy.  And if you’re actually striving for holiness, then your desire should be of God’s, not yours.  That means surrendering your sexual desires, your vulgar speech, your pride- everything.  Yeah, you’re going to have issues with doing it.  Yeah, it’s going to painful knowing you’re not going to get what you see other people get.  But do you actually want to follow Christ or give Him lip service?

“Be holy because I am holy.”  It’s a command, not a suggestion.
