the iwtv book is so funny bc lestat stalks louis obviously wanting a vampire husband he can live with forever and louis's catholic ass meets him and is like "yeah i wanna kill myself anyway why don't u turn me into a vampire" but doesn't really get the implication that they have to like. be together. and when lestat turns him and there's only one coffin for them to sleep in louis literally begs him to sleep IN THE CLOSET and lestat goes, "don't you know what you are?" and then louis gets in the coffin on top of him and tells daniel about his "distaste for being so close to him, handsome and intriguing though he was" like what r u talking about
