hi it's me having emotions about cool characters again. this time I'm personally victimizing Hornet from HK (and hopefully Silksong at some point, that'd be nice haha) for volume 2 of the @hkhallowzine!
you can download the zine through their links there (which I highly recommend there's a lot of cool stuff and some neat spot art for a bunch of fics, mine included ;) teehee) but the fic itself is now up on AO3 as well :D
It is no small feat for Hornet to stand by and allow the mother who gave her everything, at the cost of everything, to be slain. But the least she can do—and the most she can do, with how far Hallownest has fallen—is be present when it happens.
I also discovered today (or possibly rediscovered, it's been a while since I wrote HK fic with Hornet involved) that the tag "Hornet Needs a Hug" exists and. Yeah. She sure does.
