hello, i have an unfortunate update on Mai's (@abuhamdasblog) situation. as you know she takes care of her ill mother all by herself and of her family too, among which her brother was also severely injured during the genocide

today she has told me that she got hepatitis because of the contaminated water. as you know there's barely any potable water available in Gaza and people are forced to depend on the little water they are able to have access too. now that she's sick taking care of her mom is even more hard. medicine is also very expensive. the situation gets more dire by the day. please have it in your heart to donate what you're able to or 5$ AT LEAST to her gofundme (1.129/40.000$). for people in countries with weaker currencies, her paypal is also available and they accept any transfer amount. and i know you all afford to give away at least 1$ !

Tumblr zionists are so bewildering to me. They have an inherently right wing ideology that involves colonizing. Like, no matter what argument they want to spin, that's what it is, Israel did not naturally come to creation, it took the British and the Americans taking land they stole and making it Israel. Israel is factually committing genocide. Like by definition it is a genocide. But then these Zionists scroll the internet and find every left leaning group doesn't support Israel or it's like Dropout.tv (owned by a Jewish man and many people it employs activity speak out for a free Palestine) says it supports Palestine, and these people lose their collective shit. Every time a Jewish person says "I support Palestine" these Zionists are antisemitic to them or deny that they're Jewish. I watched a 14 year old who claims to be starting conversion to Judaism tell a Jewish woman in her late 20s she was a fake Jew for supporting Palestine.

It's just so crazy to me. They want to be the counter culture soooo bad. They want people to think their ideologies are "leftist" sooooo bad (they can never say which left leaning ideology though). But the truth is Zionism is a right wing ideology accepted by the fascist state and it's like sorry, you're not fighting antisemitism or whatever, you're just a bunch of racist Islamophobic antisemites who think war is cool. His name is Ramzi Abu Redwan. During the time the picture was taken he was 8 years old. Today he is 36 and has become a world-class solo musician and composer, playing the Oud, Buzuq, Violin and Viola. 

He was discovered by a Palestinian musician who recognized his natural talent at the viola, and later received a scholarship to study at a conservatory in France. He could have stayed there and lived a comfortable life in Paris, but instead, he chose to return home and give back the gift of music by openning music schools in Palestinian towns and refugee camps.

if anyone is trying to donate to help in Gaza through orgs, these ones were just banned by the Israeli government with no reason given and can no longer operate in Gaza (at least for now).

these are the orgs: Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association, Glia Project, Palestinian American Bridge, PalMed, Baitulmaal, FAJR, Palestinian American Medical Association, Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund

from what i’ve been told by people who have been working in/coordinating aid in Gaza, Palestinian Red Crescent Society, World Central Kitchen, and Anera are unaffected by this order, but everyone has been limited in what they can bring in. while the middle two aren’t medical orgs, they have been bringing in some medicine. PRCS is a red cross affiliate providing medical care.

(not trying to sway anyone’s donations but wanted to put this out there since PCRF has been the org i’ve recommended several people donate to previously.)

There’s so much work and coordination it takes to execute a genocide. It’s not something that just happens and the world is helpless to stop it. I need you to remember this as you sit there and excuse the world leaders. They claim helplessness while putting in an incredible amount of work to maintain and execute this violence.

I met Amal - @amlljom9 - when she came onto Tumblr searching for help, and she happened to find my blog. She's super sweet, very kind, and has far more patience than anyone should ever have to have under the conditions she is suffering.

She's a pharmacist, and even opened her own pharmacy in Gaza. Due to the genocide, she lost it all. Her family members are sick due to varying illnesses that have only been aggravated by long term exposure and psychological stress, including her sister in law Sarah, who had to have a caesarean with no anesthesia, and cannot feed her newborn. I cannot fathom the pain and the stress that would cause. Amal is certainly mourning it.
