odin is literally a deceitful manipulative liar and you genuinely think he told thor anything of his plans for loki after the arrest?????? you don't think it's convenient that thor handed loki over in chains and then immediately is sent to vanaheim? almost as if odin didn't want him around to hear loki's sentencing. not to mention thor is shown to defy odin's orders if he doesn't agree with them, not caring for how severe the punishment would be. how are we drawing the conclusion that's a decision he would everrr be okay with?

yes, thor is blind to odin's abuse (of them BOTH, mind you; everyone wants to talk about loki being a victim, which they are, but often fails at recognizing thor is too) for a multitude of reasons, all of which work in odin's favor to shield him from accountability. but that is by design. odin doesn't want him to see it, because seeing it would shatter the facade. seeing it would make it impossible to deny, therefore the blame for everything that has gone wrong would shift from loki (which benefits odin cuz he gets to keep acting maliciously) to odin himself.

if thor was ever shown, undeniably, that odin is a danger to loki, it would all be over. he wouldn't be able to pull thor's puppet strings and act as if he's innocent. knowing odin wanted to execute loki would have sealed the deal. you cannot convince me thor had any idea that was going to happen.

Being a normal Asgardian citizen must be so crazy for the first Thor movie. Like. You’re a normal person. Maybe you sell your wares at the market or something. Raise goats. But it’s your wonderful prince Thor’s coronation today and it’s so fun and grand and you’re going to celebrat- oh hold on. Hold on. No wait the coronation is cancelled. Somebody tells you that frost giants snuck into Asgard but that’s like so crazy you don’t believe it. Prince Thor probably got sick from nerves or something. Anyway you’re upset about the lack of feasting but it’s FINE you go home and- prince Thor disappears. Like he’s just gone now. Oh he’s banished??? For what. For going to JOTUNHEIM?? That’s crazy. Why would he do that? Anyway you have wares to peddle so- the All-Father’s in the Odinsleep now. That can’t be true, you have it marked down on your calendar that it’s supposed to be next month. Oh he is? Okay fine. Loki’s king now? Okay sure. He’s not as perky but he’ll do or whatever. He’ll do fine probably, it’s just until the All-Father wakes up and prince Thor comes back. Probably. And then the Bifrost is gone. It’s just gone now. King Loki was coronated and now the Bifrost is gone and by the way King Loki is dead now. No they don’t have his body it went with the Bifrost. The All-Father is back and so is Thor though so that’s something. It’s been 3 days.
