About that last ask. I remember you saying once that Clover’s monster soul was formed from the dregs of their human one. I took that to mean that their soul was decaying. But now you said the souls moved on and that presents an interesting idea. Of Clover’s current soul was formed from the residue left behind, does that mean monster clover isn't the "original" one? That Clover’s human soul passed on with the others?
not so! clovers soul in particular stayed behind bc of the connections they made with monsters; its why theyre basically made of pieces of their loved ones. so while they arent maybe 100% human soul anymore, the pieces of their monster soul are made with love! so its still them, just a little different :]
An interpretation I’ve seen some people have with amalgamated Kanako, do of serum essence being in her soul it causes Integrity to get somewhat revived, and permanently linger too Kanako. Similarly way to the amalgamated or Chara as Frisk Ghost friend.
And I was wandering your thoughts of this, and how it play in your Monster Clover AU?
i like those interpretations!! i think its super fun and allows for some interesting ideas for when kanako reintegrates with her family :]
for my au, i think i just wanted to keep it simple so i didnt add anything like that. i think integrity wouldve moved on with the rest of the souls after the big asriel battle, even the fragments that were left behind in kanako! but i still think integritys personality wouldve left some kind of mark in kanako, at least in terms of personality and such

my first intro in dc was the english dub of the anime and honestly it really stuck with me even if its kind of silly LOLL early 2000s obsession with giving anime characters english names is so funny. harley from alberta canada you will always be famous

as for recommendations… depends on the genre ur looking for! for now ill just throw down some of my favorite japanese medias but if u want more specific genres id be happy to recommend something hehe
for video games, im a big story driven/visual novel fan so most of my recommendations are gonna be those. i ofc recommend ace attorney, but i also recommend professor layton! we actually started azran legacy last night and the whole series is pretty banger. just a crazy ride from start to finish. its so fuckin funny how normal it looks and then u get punched in the face with crazy shit. i love layton SO much. i also recommend ai the somnium files!! uchikoshi games in general are pretty banger
for anime and manga, i recently reread witch hat atelier and its sooo good. really excellent world building, and all of the characters are so so good. just a really hopeful story and great commentary on society and how it treats the people within. my all time favorite anime/manga is monthly girls nozaki-kun! funniest shit ive ever seen, slice of life, just good feelings all around. its also about being a manga artist but its not too serious about it. i also recommend the noragami anime, i dont much care for the manga (especially near the end) but the anime is pretty solid!
i definitely feel like im forgetting some of mt favs but i think this is pretty good for now :]
