notes i love eunseok 𝜗𝜚 pairings idol!eunseok x gn!reader. genre established relationship, fluff. warning(s) pet names (baby is used like once), literally one kiss, hand holding, and a little suggestive line if you squint. not requested. not proofread.
the last thing you expected was your boyfriend rousing you from your nap. rehearsals were “canceled,” he said, a hint too eager in his voice. you wouldn’t complain — the fan con world tour had him swamped. and yes, you did tagged along with them but your days were usually filled with of exploring new places solo or luxuriating in five star room service. maybe that’s why, after you got dressed, he presented you with a bouquet of vibrant orange tulips.
eunseok didn’t hide his guilt well, you began to realize that when he’d began sneaking out of shows early and arriving rehearsals late, all for a stolen moment with you. though it did feel a little dull without your boyfriend’s presence, you really did enjoy the solitude, and would never complain about him doing what he loves, especially when he gives you his credit card, as a silent apology for his absence.
but that wasn’t enough for him.
a soft smile curved on your lips as he pulled out your chair. once you were settled, he leaned in for a kiss, which you readily returned. sitting across from you, he handed you a menu. reaching across the table, his hand brushed against your furrowed brow, easing the crease.
“what’s wrong?” he asked, his voice barely about a tremor. you realized this was uncharted territory with eunseok — nervousness. “nothing,” you mumbled, “just…what’s the special occasion?”
reaching over, he held your hands in his, softly brushing his thumbs over yours. “brunch, baby? didn’t you hear me earlier?” one of his rare boyish laughs that only ever let out with you around, rumbled from his chest.
you roll your eyes, a playful smile tugging at your lips. “you know that’s not what i mean eunseok, what’s up with you? i mean the massage, the flowers, the brunch? did you do something?” you leaned back, narrowing your eyes playfully.
the mention of the “massage” caused a blush to creep up his neck. "i’ve just been so busy," he admitted, "and i’ve missed you." he squeezed your hand.
“just want to make up for time lost, just us. is that okay?”
sunlight streamed through the window, catching the golden strands of his hair. his biceps looked impressive in the tank top. honestly, anything could be okay with him across from you.
with a playful tug, you freed your hand and grabbed the menu.
“yeah, that’s okay, seokie. now let’s order, i’m starving”.
a wide grin stretched across his face as he grabbed the menu. under the table, his leg brushed against yours, a silent promise of stolen moments to come.
