It pisses me off how people would rather focus on their emotions about shootings instead of actually taking steps to stop them. Yet they act as if their self serving focuses are for the greater good. No. Ignoring shooters and giving them zero attention and never discussing them won't stop shootings. You're not actually doing anything that betters society or saves people, you're just making yourself more comfortable because you don't personally enjoy engaging with the idea that murderers are something beyond evil and irredeemable. Disregarding them allows you to ignore the distress they cause you, but does nothing to stop people from dying.
