“can you watch where you’re going?”
a strong choice of words fell out of your mouth, but to be honest, it had been a shitty night and it only so happened that this poor boy in front of you was going to endure your raging path.
“sorry!” he apologized quickly, “are you alrig–”
“he doesn’t need to apologize, maybe look up from your phone and watch where you’re going.” a blonde intervined.
now, more irritated than previously, you turned expecting to face him, but was met with look at someone’s chest.
oh, well how shitty this is, boosting his ego because you have to look up at him.
“tsukki, it’s okay,” the green haired boy started. but ‘tsukki’ raised his hand to stop him.
you rolled your eyes, looking up at cocky grin and yellow eyes, “how about you mind your fucking business? he apologized, we were done with.”
“you should watch your tone, such hard words for someone who has to look up to speak to me.”
“oh, i get it,” your lips formed into a mocking pout, “is your ego bigger than your dick? is that why you tear others down to feel better?”
tsukishima’s eyes shadowed a small sting of shock and embarrassment, “fuck off,” the first year huffed.
“that’s what i thought,” you nodded in satisfaction and continued your stride to work, rushing into the resturant quickly. “hey! so sorry im late,” you called softly into the kitchen.
you set down your school bag immediately, wrapping an apron around your waist and snatched up your paper pad. the thought of that tall blonde–tsukki, was it? clouded your mind. he bit back, snapped, and in the end he only said those strings of sentences because of how you acted towards his innocent friend.
“table seven, (name)! birthday party, they all just arrived go take their drinks.”
you smiled at the cook and nodded, at least you weren’t getting scolded for being late again.
“hey! im (name) and i’ll be your server for tonight-”
you stopped quickly as your eyes scanned the quite full table, sitting at the end was the boy who held the yellow eyes himself. both of you seemed thoroughly surprised but it quickly vanished as a jumpy teenager almosted melted at the sight of you.
“you’re cute,” his blonde tuft of hair seemed to brighten with speaking with you. you uncomfortably shifted and smiled politely.
“nishinoya calm the fuck down,” tsukki snapped. a tone of jealously laced in his voice. you chuckled softly at how he realized his mistake and tensed.
“so, drinks?” you straightened your back.
“all waters,” the green haired boy who’s face was littered with freckles as if they were stars spoke up, “and um–sorry we didn’t get any napkins.”
you apologized, rushing to get their waters and throwing together a couple napkins. you debated before scribbling your pen quickly across the thin material.
“here you go,” you passed them out individually, flipping tsukki’s over to the blank side and avoiding eye contact with him.
due to unfortunate luck, your shift ended early. even though you’d love to serve table seven all night, you had a chemistry project that you’d hadn’t even started on.
you met eyes with him one more time, waving goodbye slightly as you pushed through the doors. sighing in discontent because you’d have to admit, he was cute for someone who didn’t know how to shut their mouth.
Unknown Number, 1 Min Ago
– if you wanted my number you could’ve asked
you felt your heart beat in your ears, he’d gotten your poorly written number on the back of the napkin.
– didn’t need to give you more of an ego boost, a pretty person like me asking for your number, decided this would humble you ;)
“tsukki?” yamaguchi glanced at him, “is your mom texting you-do you need to go home?”
“what? no,” tsukishima almost pocketed his phone. he almost despised himself for the growing feelings of excitement that hummed through his body at the though of you texting back so quickly.
- payed for your guys’s meal w my tips from tn btw
- hbd, your dick is still small xoxo
tsukishima smiled softly, “idiot,” he whispered and flipped his phone on the table, mentally reminding himself to call the person that made the most admirable first impression.
- slow burn, tsukishima kei
