Yall wanna see cope the likes nobody has ever seen?
that is THE DEFINITION of a glow up
Yelling "There is still time!" to anyone who thinks they can't transition because they already went through male/female puberty.
white t girl i love you. and also do not forget that you are not the modern martyr for the oppressed voice. that's still black girls. it's always been black girls. stories of black martyrdom simply don't make it into the news cycle until the unrest caused by its reporting can be packaged as a "riot" segment between traffic reports. i know you suffer, but whatever you're experiencing, i beg you, when interacting with your community and building nuanced understandings of each other and the system which binds us, to not forget that a black tgirl has felt it 100 times worse before positioning yourself as an authority on all systems of oppression for having suffered unjustly at all. because you have suffered unjustly, but suffering unjustly as a white person means something so much different.
serenely reblogging this once more after deleting responses from white people saying "talking about this is actually unhelpful because im oppressed too" yeah i know. i wrote that down in the post i made, and i also wrote down why remembering the difference is important. did you read it?
there is no malice in my reminder. no "you need to do better", just a reminder. do not read it as such. i didn't write it as such.
TERF Website.
I’m not going to stop beating people over the head for preferring to feed their pointless fucking nostalgia over not supporting a Holocaust-Denying TurboBigot who’s made it her life’s work to use every millions of dollars and her entire online presence to terrorize and criminalize trans women out of existence.
All her works do is get more and more and more bigoted, and so does she. The tolerance people have for it shows that they do not care for minorities. She talks tirelessly about how she hates minorities, they just look away and act like their twee little ‘reclamations’ of the series where Harry Potter is gay mean anything. She talks endlessly about how she views literally any endorsement of her work as endorsement for her views and they plug their ears and act like that’s not true. They cast a Black man as Snape and the fandom started cheering. I hope everyone here dies.
"I don't like JRK but I still love Harry Potter"
You have blood on your hands
Burn your fucking Harry Potter merch or be burned with it.
I'm fucking livid.
Uk peeps!! Let’s get this going! 🏳️⚧️🇬🇧
...Non-UK peeps, please reblog for reach ❤️
*grabs your hands and speaks to you in a tone that is so gentle* they/them pronouns stop being universal once you learn a person's pronouns. Sometimes that person's pronouns will include they/them and in that specific case you are allowed to keep using those pronouns for that person. In any case where you learn a persons pronouns and that person doesn't use they/them, you should no longer use those pronouns for that person. If you continue to use they/them pronouns knowing that person doesn't use them, you are now misgendering that person. Kindly stop doing that please. Thank you, I love you.
yknow what, i AM making this an official linguistics post
all of staff continues to violently weaponize transmisogyny and antiblackness and transmisogynoir and ignore genocide victims huh
You want to call your House rep now and tell them Trump needs to be impeached immediately for defying a Supreme Court order (re: Kilmar Abrego Garcia), which functionally voids our constitution and means no one in America has rights anymore.
I am not exaggerating.
As of now, anybody can be disappeared, no due process, no recourse. Trump is openly disregarding a Supreme Court order and says he’ll send US citizens to El Salvador.
This is not a drill.
Call your House rep and tell them they must impeach. Tell them if they cannot bring themselves to impeach, they must resign. A more open and shut case to impeach is not possible. Trump and his administration are saying openly, in public, that anybody can be kidnapped by ICE, even in error, and disappeared permanently.
Call your senators, too, and tell them to support impeachment (it goes to them once it passes a majority House vote).
"Hello, my name is _______ and I am a constituent from _______. My address is ________.
I am reaching out today to urge Representative ______ to call for the impeachment of President Trump due to his refusal to comply with the Supreme Court's April 10th decision regarding Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was unlawfully deported and has been charged with no crime. As Justice Sotomayor stated, this inaction implies the government's ability to 'deport and incarcerate any person, including U.S. citizens, without legal consequence, so long as it does so before a court can intervene.' This precedent is unconstitutional, highly illegal, and grounds for impeachment. Every individual, regardless of immigration status, must be guaranteed a right to due process.
Representative _____, I urge you to stand on the right side of history today by calling for President Trump's impeachment. This administration can not be allowed to continue unilaterally defying the checks and balances that are intrinsic to our government."
You can also find your representative and senators and their phone numbers on https://5calls.org/
Please don't be afraid of calling. Your job would just be to be a data point, not to sound perfect. Here's some info on why calling is effective.
the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself
This is a weird post to have to make but.
Please do not send me asks about minecraft anymore. There's a boycott going on and in support of it I'm not going to, nor should you, Purchase Play give Publicity to or in anyway support it. That includes making content for and about it or presenting it in any positive light.
I have personally cut out all minecraft projects from my work and have no intents on picking them back up until the boycott is over, nor will I be answering BLSMP asks, posting screenshots, reblogging fanart or doing anything that could give positive attention to minecraft or any of the other listed microsoft products. I urge you to join me. The more you speak about this, the more pressure you put on others, especially those with social sway, the more likely this is to work.
If you have the itch to do something minecraft related, make a post like this instead. Spread the word. Tell people who might not know. Help convince bigger names to Stop and redirect instead. Its not fun, I know, but its necessary. Do your part. This is important.
Thank y'all for understanding and for supporting something right.

crazy how cis people will fully recognize how damaging it is to go through puberty that doesn't line up with your identity. but when we say "yeah that's why we need puberty blockers / gender affirming care for minors" they'll say "noooooo, we meant it would be harmful to our vulnerable cis kids who might regret it. we're gonna make sure that every single trans person has to go through this trauma, to prevent the slim chance that a cis kid might <3"
watching gen z and millennials make fun of gen alpha has been torturous. "But they're actually stupid" 1. theyre middle schoolers 2. isn't that what older gens said about us? don't you remember being 11?
it truly is just "impulse reaction to cringe <- has not yet unlearned shame"
the cycle continues let me out of here
guys. guys I think we should kill cringe culture
My kids and their friends are Gen Alpha, and they are sweet, sweet kids living though appalling times.
They grew up with the most rigidly binary models of childhood that have existed in my lifetime (girl-glue, anyone?) and been viewed as their earning potential since before they could walk. They have been exploited and abandoned on the internet by their parents, have been exploited on the internet by the algorithm when they were too young to understand it. They are the first large generation of the children of Mommy bloggers, anti-vaxxers, trad wives, and quiverful types.
They’ve survived a pandemic, and had it cut through their schooling in a way that has been enormously traumatic. They have the smallest outdoor range of any generation to date. In their lifetime, climate change has become violently real, socioeconomic disparity has only increased, reactionary movements have increased, and rights that we’ve taken for granted have been rolled back. They are the generation of British trans kids taking their lives on the now-static youth GIC waiting lists. The American trans kids who are watching their very existence become illegal. They are the generation of creative kids whose arts and humanities funding has been cut to the bone. A generation who have grown up watching soft-lit, queer friendly cartoons, walking out in to a world of violent trans and homophobia.
They are depressed, anxious, afraid. Their aspirations are low, their hopes for the future fragile.
They are clever, and creative, and charming, and brave. And they are KIDS.
Be nice to them, they’re dealing with a lot.
They are clever, and
creative, and charming, and
brave. And they are KIDS.
Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
I would dearly love for more people to be capable of differentiating between public risk and personal risk.
Examples: drinking is a personal risk. Drinking and driving is a public risk. Going scuba diving is a personal risk. Running a scuba shop with faulty equipment is a public risk. Riding a bicycle without a helmet is a personal risk. Not maintaining public transport safety standards is a public risk. Foraging for mushrooms is a personal risk. Advertising a mushroom identification app that uses shoddy AI is a public risk. Elective surgery is a personal risk. Not wearing a mask in a doctor's waiting room when you are sick with a contagious illness is a public risk.
I could go on just about forever here. But it's a really important distinction and it drives me nuts when they get conflated, and it's so common.
