Heyyy yโall, I should prob say that Iโll be on a semi-hiatus which means Iโm majorly not going to be available but I am going to post myb some doodles here and there, and Iโll most probably answer any non-drawing questions if thereโs any

Who would be ivantill in dreamswap for me it would either be dream and nm(with dream upset about randy or ani's death) or someone with cross(I can't pick on who cross would be cuz to me he kinda fits both ivan and till in my opinion if he was one of them)

To whoever this anon was I am so sorry for my dumb young self because I genuinely do not remember answering like this and I thought I wrote my opinion
Anyways what I actually was originally thinking was the duos I can think of are (Iโll explain after listing)
My explanation will majorly be from the canon(?) dreamswap dynamics between characters but Imma tweak it to the alnst lore [canon (?) cuz Iโm using the old lore and idk if it changed or not]
1. Dream could be very competitive against contestants who he isnโt close with, and yes as you said, during Cure he would be sad and it may be because Ani, Randy or Nightmare has died in the previous round. All the three I mentioned as Ivan have a common reason why they would be attached to dream and long story short, they admire him for being charming and caring for them. They all can differ on the level of obsession like for ink itโs because Dream seem interesting to him, for blue it can be because Dream was probably one of the first people who acted kind to him when he first enrolled into Anakt Garden or it can be a crush at first sight, and for Nightmare (if he doesnโt die) pretty much the same as blue (the first option)
2. For ink and cross, I like to think that cross was obsessed with ink because he was his first friend plus he also had two different colored eyes. However they became friends after ink was attached to dream, so ink pretty much didnโt want to hang out with cross and thatโs what made him so obsessed with wanting to be seen by ink
For nightmare and cross which is almost similar to ink and cross, nightmare would prob be crossโs first friend but just like ink, nightmare has a fat crush on dream which made him kinda ignore all the (romantic) affection that cross gave him hence cross is REALLY trying to get his attention (and yea cross is jealous of dream either way)
3. For error and blue, I would think that blue has a crush on error but error just sees blue as a friend and blue is prob stubborn to let error go
For hacker and blue, blue probably had a small crush on hacker but when he got rejected for some reason he didnโt want to let hacker go. Hacker has a crush on finch and when he died, hacker was just so depressed that he just completely ignored blue which made blue want to have hackers attention even more
Thatโs what I wanted to say, sorry again for my ignorance back then and I hope you accept this very very very VERY late response ๐ญ
