The rules are simple: send an image of a M-Head (aka Cat) through the ask box, or tag me in any cat posts. Otherwise, I reblog pictures (and rarely video) of a cat. And I will determine if the M is readable or not.
If you’re part of the DNI down below, you cannot read any M’s. You will be blocked and reported.

typical DNI criteria, any/all scam bots, anyone who makes those longer than hell dumb nsfw fanfics that flood the search when you look up something very very very very specific, and full on nsfw/nsft pron blogs in general. Also anyone who is really problematic in my eyes. Aaaand people who fake any illness for attention. But I honestly can’t tell if someone’s faking or not. Also part of the DNI is anyone who makes me uncomfortable. And those hasbin people. (All of you can look but not interact - no likes or RBs.) (if you’re part of the DNI criteria please dont follow because youll be blocked and if you’re bad enough, reported)
There is a rating system for each type of M:
No M (when a cat does not have an M)
Missing the Middle (when a cat has no middle part on the M)
Half an M (when a cat has half an M, usually with the other half or the middle covered in fur)
Unreadable (M is there but it doesn’t look like an M)
Barely Readable (an M is there but you gotta try your best to read it - M with large split falls under this category)
Somewhat Readable (same as Barely Readable but the M is a little easier to read - readable with medium split counts)
Almost Readable (newest rating - basically a mix of Somewhat Readable and Readable)
Readable (M can be read without effort - small split counts)
Perfect (has its own tag - #perfect m’s)
Funky M (has its own tag - #funky m’s)

An image like this is ideal. (This image is Readable by the way)
However, an image like this (a large group of M-Heads, the limit for a M-Head group photo is 10, originally 3.) is not ideal. Some M-Heads in this photo are blurry and there will be a select few that I can identify and see if the M is readable. (This image is a mix of Missing the Middle to Barely Readable)
Other things to point out:
Low resolution images and video/GIFs are harder to determine as the M on the M-Head might be hard to read/it moves often. (And the fact theres one song that im uncomfortable with hearing which was popular on TT 1-2 yrs ago. The one with the high pitched guitar noise. Ouch!)
If the M is at an angle, it may be harder to determine the rating. I may have to turn my head to read it.
