whose fault is that? the parents. Kids cant drive themself to a playground, they receive the ipad the parent chose to buy them and so they use it. if you gave them a ROCK they would play with it.
i hate seeing people constantly blame the LITERAL CHILDREN for things that its 100% the parents faults.
seeing an older family member blaming a 7 year old because he doesn't know who a [insert iconic 2000s character] is, when they've literally never shown them that media, pisses me off. I'm sure they WOULDVE liked it, its the decision to not let kids do those things that's causing the very things people accuse them of
it makes the child feel guilty for not knowing something, and gives the older person a false sense of superiority. I'm sure you can bond better with your child if you introduced them to media you enjoyed as a child.
saying this because its been on my mind and i don't have any young family members to show anything to.
