The rain filled inside your boots, making your socks wet. The coldness came into contact with your warm feet, your dry lips parted, a groan leaving them. You stood patiently waiting for the bus. It had been a weary day, gloom and darkness everywhere. It felt like you were overworked, but still a little excitement remained inside you, to get home and cuddle with your boyfriend. Finally, a bus made your way and you climbed in, you carefully placed your steps inside the bus, heedful of not wetting the ground.

The bus ride went pretty lonely, especially since the person on your seat got grumpy every time you'd cough. Your stop arrived, and you got off the bus with your wet boots. The first step you took off the bus landed right into a dirty puddle, and mud splashed right onto your raincoat. Thank goodness, it weren't your clothes, it's your favorite tank top that you're wearing. You head towards your home with a ear-to-ear smile plastered on your face to see Jaehyun.

You step inside and an empty hall catches your sight, so you call out for Jaehyun. Silence drapes the hall without any response from Jaehyun, so you remove your raincoat and walk further into your bedroom. You catch a sight of Jaehyun decorating the wall with something, and he suddenly panics when you come in. "Damn, you weren't supposed to come in right now." Jaehyun quickly tops the bed and takes a stance, trying to hide what he's put on the wall for you. Since Jaehyun isn't a big fat cheeto, you're able to see pretty much of the stuff on the wall he's trying to hide from you. Your eyes catch the sight of the fairy lights on top of his head.

Fairy lights? Your face lit up as soon as you saw them; the lights being the one thing that made you happy. "Fairy lights babe?" You questioned even though you didn't want to, a wave of excitement filling you up. "All of the surprise ruined." Jaehyun mumbled loud enough that. You eyed the space between his legs, there were photos of both of you stuck to the wall with a paper clip. You climbed the bed and walked towards Jaehyun. As you got close, he straightened his legs, getting back in a normal position. He was quick to shoot up with a ton of questions, before you could say anything. "Why is your hair wet Y/N? Did you get wet in the rain? We gotta dry it soon otherwise you'll catch a cold!!" He grabbed your arm and moved from his position, exposing the bedroom wall. Your eyes stared at the wall, beautiful pictures of both of you hung up on the wall, with a delicate background of golden fairy lights that you saw before. Jaehyun climbed down and you felt the bed rise.

"Do you like it?" his faded voice reached your ears, and you turned back to see him , a gentle expression settled on his face. "It's..... beautiful, Jae." Jaehyun opened his arms, and you ran back to stuff him in your kisses and hugs.

"It's all for you, Y/N."
