REVISED SHIPATHON 2018 SCHEDULE:

Hey LITs! It’s that time of the year again! Since 2018 is our third year, this time I ran a survey for a few months about everyone’s ships, to help make sure the Shipathon calendar is as unbiased and true to the fandom’s current shipping preferences as possible! 

The first time I posted this schedule, I got a lot of new feedback, so I took it down and revised it with the help of @imagination-parade (who also helps me out a lot with this blog and should get a shout out!)

NOTE: Due to the large number of characters and new ships, to be as inclusive as possible I suggested an extra week to celebrate just the rarepairs - and everyone who replied to the survey loved the idea! And remember that in the middle of the Shipathon, there are now TWO WHOLE WEEKS set aside for one-episode love interests!

WEEK 0: JUNE 24TH- 29TH: RAREPAIR WEEK [some popular rarepairs I suggest]:

WEEK 1: JULY 1ST- JULY 7TH: EVE BAIRD X FLYNN CARSEN

WEEK 2: JULY 8TH- JULY 14TH: JAKE X CASSANDRA X EZEKIEL (AND, NOT OR)

WEEK 3 & 4: JULY 15TH - AUGUST 5TH: TWO WEEKS FOR ONE-EPISODE RELATIONSHIPS I.E:

[YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO ONE RELATIONSHIP FOR EACH WEEK, TRY DOING A DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIP EVERY DAY DURING THIS PART!]

WEEK 5: AUGUST 6TH - AUGUST 12TH: JACOB STONE X EZEKIEL JONES

WEEK 6: AUGUST 13TH- AUGUST 19TH: EZEKIEL JONES X CASSANDRA CILLIAN

WEEK 7: AUGUST 20TH- AUGUST 26TH: CASSANDRA CILLIAN X JACOB STONE

WEEK 8: AUGUST 27TH- SEPTEMBER 2ND: MORIARTY X EVE X FLYNN (AND/OR)

Hey LITs! It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year again!  2018 is the Shipathon’s third year running, and the fandom has grown along with the show! This year I ran a survey for a few months about everyone’s ships, to help make sure the Shipathon calender is as unbiased and true to the fandom’s current shipping preferences as possible!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the rules of The Librarians Shipathon, it go as follows:

- The Librarians Shipathon is a fandom-wide celebration of the show, the characters, and especially the relationships between them! This year it will last from JUNE 24TH-SEPTEMBER 30TH.

- Each week has a relationship assigned to it, and you post things for that ship at any time during that week. DON”T BE INTIMIDATED BY THE LENGTH OF THE CALENDAR! You don’t have to do every week! (But pretty please, for the love of the gods, try to do more than one? As a personal favor to me, @jedijenkins?) 

- You can make any kind of content you wish for that relationship, as long as it’s celebrating relationships and not bashing them! You can celebrate them platonically or romantically or otherwise! 

- The weeks are a GUIDELINE, don’t feel stressed if you post stuff late! Better late than never, this is a celebration of the fandom as much as it is of the show.

- Even if you can’t make content, please like, reblog and comment on the content of others! 

- And MOST IMPORTANTLY: ALWAYS TAG YOUR WORK WITH #LIBRARIANSSHIPATHON! You can post cross-platform, as i’ll be tracking the tag on every website relevant. If you post cross-platform, please remember to share posts between platforms!

NOTE: Due to the large number of characters and new ships, to be as inclusive as possible I suggested an extra week to celebrate just the rarepairs - and everyone who replied to the survey loved the idea! Also, just because something didn’t make it on the calendar as a fully fledged week this year doesn’t mean it’s completely a rarepair! But consider rarepair week the week you can post about anything not on the major calendar!

THE LIBRARIANS SHIPATHON 2018 SCHEDULE IS BEING REVISED DUE TO NEW FEEDBACK:

Please send us your input on this! Do you want an extra month to be added to the Shipathon? Do you want the shipping survey to be reopened? Do you want the ships of the weeks rearranged? Tell us in our inbox, without being rude! 

And if you want, just head into our inbox and tell us your favorite shipathon weeks of the past! The schedule should be up again before the end of the week!

I’m getting a lot of complaints (some ruder than others) about the current schedule for The Librarians Shipathon 2018:

1. I asked the fandom and searched the fandom for months before this to get real unbiased data for this current schedule, so if you feel like it’s off or you are misrepresented, it’s because you were not active in the fandom enough after season four/non responsive to my surveys, I tried to be as impersonal as possible about it.

2. We just got a cancellation after season four finished, so that being said, if you where inactive it’s understandable. I’m not blaming you. Therefore, I’m asking if you guys would like me to do ANOTHER ROUND OF VOTING POLLS for the schedule, but this is only if you feel like you didn’t get the chance to respond or represent for your ship before this! 

3. I AM WILLING TO EDIT THE SCHEDULE IF I GET A LOT OF RESPONSE AROUND CERTAIN WEEKS/SHIPS, BUT ONLY IF THOSE RESPONSES ARE NOT HATEFUL OR RUDE. 

4. IF YOU WOULD RATHER I ADD EXTRA WEEKS/A WHOLE OTHER MONTH TO THE SHIPATHON THIS YEAR, SINCE WE’VE BEEN CANCELLED, PLEASE COME INTO MY INBOX AND TELL ME!
