This is strongly misleading.
The nintendo switch 1 game cards also required downloads to run, they are not like ds or 3ds carts which have everything other than updates or dlc, it's more like discs in the modern era, having just enough data to elicit a download.
Now the 80 dollars bit. That is just greed, yea.
