SUICIDE SILENCE Announce one-off intimate UK show at The Borderline, London and set to headline Yorkshire’s GHOSTFEST
Southern California’s most empowering and brutal metal heavyweights, SUICIDE SILENCE have just announced a one-off, intimate show at London’s Borderline on Friday 27th June. This is a ridiculously small venue for a band of their stature, so prepare for utter chaos to break out. With support from London’s Heart Of A Coward and Hull’s Black Tongue, this will be a ludicrously hot and heavy night. Alongside this, the band have also been announced as headliners for the Saturday of this summer’s Ghostfest at Leeds University over the weekend of June 28th & 29th in Leeds, Yorkshire. "Foggy London Town were Rollin’ through to rock some socks and hang the hell out. No need for a huge stage or a cool breeze lets get up close and personal for this one… See everyone soon.” - Mark Heylmun, Guitar - Suicide Silence. SUICIDE SILENCE are scheduled to release their brand new masterpiece, 'You Can't Stop Me' on July 14th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment with latest addition to the family, Eddie Hermida, on vocals. You Can’t Stop Me was produced and mixed by Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, GLASSJAW, SEPULTURA), the band’s longtime friend and collaborator. Evetts was set to begin working with Mitch Lucker on new material just days after his passing. Most bands will declare their most recent album the ‘best’ they’ve ever done. Suicide Silence have declared You Can’t Stop Me as their most impassioned, most committed, and most important release thus far. It’s a record they fought, bled, sweated and even cried to make happen. Consequently, it’s a record that must be heard. As Suicide Silence have found new life and empowerment in the compositions boiling within You Can’t Stop Me, so shall their increasingly strong army of supporters, both old and new, who share in that empowerment. If a rising heavy metal band can overcome a tragedy this triumphantly, this definitively, this absolutely, then surely there’s hope for us all.
