🌼 hello, i'm jil 💚 this is my sideblog for indulging in my interests - i'm a filipino who draw a lot of yumeship content related things here. my current interests include identity v, stardew valley, pokemon, and fields of mistria! my dear main f/os are norton campbell and steven stone. however, i'm also focused on sam and a lil bit of march! but i'm okay with sharing for the last two! i also love to talk about my familials from time to time <3 aside from yumeshipping, i sometimes like talking about random things too, like liveposting about video games or just talking about what goes on my day - so it's like an open diary here. i love drawing and creating lore for my ships and care very deeply for my faves 💚 i hope you enjoy your stay here. ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛

🌼 when interacting with me: please note that i'm a lot more closed off when it comes to interacting in DMs and i can get REALLY picky so please understand that - i just want to keep my distance from other users as i had previously experienced being too overwhelmed with it. you can stop by my ask box or talk under my posts, just not DMs. i personally prefer those methods. this can be disregarded if we're friends on discord, but again - i am very selective

🌼 reblog + tag commenting on my art shouldn't feel like an obligation. i say this because its always a preference that creators want their art noticed. (which is understandable) however, i've come to enjoy simply sharing my art and not expecting much. im treating it like an archive as well. don't feel guilty if you don't say much to my art. a heart is always enough! i usually reblog my art from hour to hour for timezones purposes though :3

Idgaf if you don't want to write essays for school. I don't care if you don't want to write corporate emails yourself. I don't care if you can't draw well, I don't care if you can't write well, I don't care if you just really really want to talk to your favorite fictional character but don't want to RP with a real person because you have social anxiety or whatever

If you're still regularly using generative ai, chatgpt or midjourney or character.ai or literally whatever the fuck, im personally blaming you when my utility prices start going up.

(I am not defending the usage of generative AI/ChatGPT/Character.ai etc etc i am very much against it - I am just curious as to the correlation between using it and utility price surge please don't come at me this is a genuine question)

ChatGPT uses so much energy that the US is literally reversing course on coal and gas usage to make up for it. In Santa Clara, for example, data centers used 60% of the ENTIRE CITY'S electricity.

ChatGPT uses 1-3 bottles of water for cooling for every query you put into it. This is FRESH WATER, which is evaporated and eventually mostly returns to the ocean, effectively removing a lot of it from our already dwindling fresh water supply on the planet. It also consumes 17 THOUSAND TIMES more electricity than the average American home.

The AI boom wastes so much electricity that we are very immediately risking US cities having to have rolling blackouts just to keep up with the energy demands, as early as NEXT YEAR

Gen AI's water usage is projected to hit 6.6 BILLION meters cubed by 2027

More AI use = more data centers = power drain on local cities = gas, electricity, and water utility prices rise because all of our resources are being funneled into a machine that makes garbage

The way I was able to recognize several anons in one of my inboxes bc of this error. Oh my god. Guys. This isn’t supposed to happen.

Weighing in to say:

YES, I SEE THIS ON MOBILE. HOWEVER I DO **NOT** THINK IT'S SHOWING THE ANON'S REAL IDENTITY.

The profile pictures I see next to anon asks are profile pictures that belong to other, non-anon asks in my ask box also. Some info

  • there are 14 asks in my inbox from the last ~5 days
  • 9 anons, 5 logged in users
  • ALL 14 show pfps, including the 9 anons
  • ALL THE SHOWN PROFILE PICTURES BELONG TO THE 5 LOGGED IN USERS

I think the bug is the inbox INCORRECTLY attributing anons to neighboring, logged-in asks.

Which is still a bad bug! Considering it makes it look like a long-time follower of mine sent me a spam ask.

And is worse if, say, one of these was anon hate.

But it's NOT the anon's real identity. It's a neighboring ask asker's identity

it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.
