Anyways, to give an update on my life:

I’m 26 now. I have a boyfriend of two years. We went to Sick New World in May with my friend who I only met because of this account. It was amazing and I almost cried seeing System.

I work full time in HR and got promoted three months ago. Never ended up graduating college but it all worked out. I have a cat whom I love very much. I live alone right now and friend mentioned above lives in the apt below me.

I’m still a music lover and listen to many genres. I don’t listen to nu metal too much anymore but it still hits when it comes on the rotation. Slipknot’s Iowa and self titled are still my teenage comfort albums. I like funk, soul, disco, experimental, jazz, electronic, death and doom, sludge, latin rock, world music, psychedelic, new age, new wave, the list goes on. I love exploring music rabbit holes similar to when I was on here but with a wide net. In the process of making a rick james v prince beef slideshow for a power point night with my friends lol.

I kind of accidentally still dress goth in a business casual and athleisure way. I’m not sure if I am capable of matching outfits as my formative years were spent only wearing black and I keep buying all my staple pieces in black to match. I sometimes wear light purple and green lol. But I’m always goth at heart. Love you all. Xo Danielle

Is it possible to create a side account from this one but have a different dashboard following different people? I’m toying with the idea of making a new tumblr to compile music things but leave this one in her peaceful grave.

I love funk, soul, death metal, krautrock, doom, world music, experimental, disco and so much more. Most of my friends and boyfriend nowadays are down with all of it but no one is as obsessive about it.

Miss you and thank you all for making my high school years bearable. 

I’ve met some great people here that I’ve been mutuals and friends with for 10 years now. I even met two friends in real life from this account- one of them has been a dear friend for seven years, another lives in the apartment below me now. A lot of my friends stem from those two as well. I’m forever grateful and do not know where my life would be if I never made this account.
