“We need to hear what he said.”
“He said that- mmph!” In a bold move, the kind Jonathan rarely if ever pulled, he tugged Nancy into a firm kiss, feeling the way she giggled against his lips. It wasn’t a very good kiss, he was grinning too wide and she couldn’t keep her lips together, but any kiss with Nancy was good. And it stopped her from spilling secrets.
Stancy vs Jancy fighting is so goofy cause Steve and Nancy are just like “It’s bullshit!” Or “go to hell nancy” n just cursing at one another, meanwhile Jancy I feel like I’m watching the two smart kids beef during class because they both got the correct answer to the equation using different methods. “Oliver Twist routine” “Fagin and the gang” who are they and why are they throwing witty novel insults at one another. Just say “I don’t like you anymore” or something. Even their arguments have to be complex 😭
I’ve had this idea for a while now but I’d really looooove to write a jancy fanfic following after the hospital scene. You’ve got two 17 year olds who both commit murder and they’re just fine afterwards? I don’t buy it. Let Jancy be each others therapist and let Jonathan pretend he’s totally fine with what happened even though it’s swallowing him whole to think about how engaging in such a violent act makes him closer to resembling Lonnie. Let Jonathan feel utterly miserable because he broke down killing a rabbit, and worried over the wellbeing of a caged rat. Surely it hurts him to take the life of another human.(even though technically Tom and Bruce were flayed but yk...) and let Nancy feel this surge of disgust with herself. Sure she absolutely hated how they treated her in the workplace but they never deserved to die because of it.(I’d beg to differ I hated every single one of them😒)Nancy’s always been good at defense, and she will not hesitate shooting a btch need be, and even though these people aren’t necessarily alive, looking at a human and having to kill them regardless of the circumstance is traumatizing. Let them both soothe each other’s concerns PLEASEEE. For extra measure the mindflayer itself? We keep forgetting how young they are. That sight of Tom and Bruce’s bodies forming into thick clots is disturbing. When I first watched it I was wide-eyed. Nancy was also locked alone with that thing, I’m sure she was frightened! Jonathan on the other hand was so close yet so far, trying everything to get to her. The first thing they do once reunited?
So yeah. I do think we should have a Jancy fanfic where they get a moment to themselves, maybe tending to each other’s wounds. Nancy gently kissing the various scars Jonathan had to endure, while he’s holding her tight, absolutely over the moon, relieved she’s still here after all they went through during that scene.

I want Joyce to get Jonathan in an afterschool activity that doesn’t require so much attention like sports, because nobody should have to put up with L*nnie.
