something I like to do is watching my friends closely. Find the little characteristics in how they sit, what changes about them when they're focused, how they carry groceries, all that. idk if that's what you were looking for but that's the stuff that makes me want to draw them.

being effective wow, guess that'll really depend on your context and what you're trying to effect! Here's some things I like 2 do 1. u can read/listen a little about the people who did shit that you're into, or believed things in a way that resonates with you. Is there a strategy u like? a historical movement? That's sometimes a useful guide, but also challenge all these ideas. 2. u can visit an anarchist infoshop/bookshop/bikeshop or food distro and get to know people. have conversations and get tangled up in their shit, volunteer for everything, you'll have hella negative experiences but maybe you'll also figure out what feeds ur fire. 3. Be yourself, you don't gotta b hard or smart or cool or likeable. We're all rotting meat in the shadow of an empire nothing matters just b urself dog.
