Since I already got asked, yes my next fic will be Priestjolras :) I already have my next two fics planned out haha. I just need a little bit of a break and hopefully I can sort of recharge although who knows how soon the brainworms will need to be extracted. I’m sort of terrible at relaxing, I always feel like I constantly need to be productive and get things out of my head.

I’m also starting to rp with @shamedumpster which is exciting, I’m hoping some fun art will come out of that haha. I’m already excited about the scene I wrote last night.

I wonder if writing is like art, do people improve in writing by just writing all the time? I’m not sure it works like that but I hope it does.

Enjolras from my fanfiction What Fine Marble, an Enjoltaire take on the Greek myth Pygmalion and Galatea (sculpture comes to life). I recently reread it and it gave me some fuzzy feelings. It's in my opinion one of my best fics and I really recommend people give it a try if you haven't read it! I don't think I'll achieve that kind of poetic ability again haha. I'm imagining this to be from that one nighttime scene...

Ohhh thank you so much, this is so sweet to hear!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed Corinthe School for Boys :O <3 It's one of my faves that I've written so it makes me happy that it makes you happy!! I think I was away for a while for a few reasons, mainly of which was struggling with hand pain from drawing but also just not feeling inspired to write or draw much. But now I seem to have a renewed vigor to keep myself mentally in check by using my art and fic writing for escapism and it's honestly been a good thing. And strangely it seems like my hand has gotten stronger so fingers crossed that it stays that way! (As for my popular posts being ages ago I'm sure that will stay that way too haha, I don't think the fandom is big enough for things to be passed around that much anymore.)

Ever since I heard the Hunchback of Notre Dame musical, I wanted to draw Enjolras singing Phoebus's solo from the finale. Finally nine years later I've finally taken the time to draw it. Hugo musicals colliding, it's funny to me that two musicals based on Hugo's work are are like my top two musicals of all time. Here is a link to the song if you'd like to hear it. The solo in question is at 3:12 on that track. And if you've never listened to the album run and do it! It's based on the Disney movie with the Disney songs but is much more serious and mixes in more of Hugo's vision into it. It's wonderful.

I can't believe it took me 12+ years of being in this fandom to cross over with my favorite movies of all time. Enjolras and Grantaire as....Elfjolras and Hobbitaire. Look he's just a little guy okay.

I love Lord of the Rings as much as I love Les Miserables I just don't talk about it as much as I should.

A Cowboy Enjolras I was inspired to draw because of @shamedumpster's very cool Cowboy Enj design. What's he gonna do with that rope? Hmmm. Could be there's a Grantaire in need of tying up.

So yes that is a doll with a ladybug crawling on it. Not too many people are reading it so I thought I might try to entice a little bit by making a nice picture. Enjolras in the fic does not want children or enjoy the concept of babies but he is falling for daddy Grantaire. I promise it's safe for people who also do not enjoy children it's not really about that lol.

*whispers* i miss when the fandom was active and alive and i'm sad because it's tumbleweeds now. so much silence and posting to the void. i miss when people talked to me and there were so many fandom artists friends. most of them are all gone or moved on. i miss my old rp partner who i haven't heard from in a while. i liked when people spread their joy. anybody can talk to me it's okay i'd be happy to respond. wishing for a time that's probably never coming back but i suppose it's just how things shake out. will more people get into les mis again who knows...

Chapter one of my new Enjolras/Grantaire fic is up.

Enjolras and Grantaire are high school seniors who have to raise a fake electronic baby together as parents for home economics class. Enjolras who does not want anything to do with children, is not thrilled about it. Chaos ensues.

This one came about because recently a blog called @could-they-raise-the-eggbaby made a post about whether Marius and Cosette could pass the home economics egg baby project together. It got me thinking about Enjolras and Grantaire of course and then I upgraded them to the very modern electronic baby simulation dolls they have now for that project and here we are.

I am very lucky I never had to do that because I am very much like Enjolras, no babies for me thank you.

I started yet another fic. It’s not even the priest one (which will still happen, don’t worry). It’s silly and stupid and I hope y’all will forgive me for not writing my usual emotionally moving stuff.

I keep vascillating on “I am enjoying this, it’s like candy” and “this is so embarassing, throw it in the trash.” 🫠
