Big news, everyone! For the first time ever, I'm collaborating on an anthology with two other authors.
METALHEARTS - A CHARITY ANTHOLOGY OF TRENDHORROR is a 2000s nostalgia horror collection curated by me, Nadine Stewart (Curbside Curses) and River Gardner (Pretty Girls Make Graves) to raise money to help those afflicted by the Pacific Palisades wildfires last month.
From February 21st until March 21st 2025, we are accepting horror fiction set from 2000-2009 for consideration. This is an unpaid call since the money's going to charity.
Tell us about cursed MP3s downloaded off Limewire, life in haunted small towns following 9/11, teen actresses hunted after by a demonic public, remakes of horror movies that don't exist.
We're looking for tales inspired by any and all aspects of life in the 2000s. Cassandra Cain being the first Batgirl to get an ongoing series, Japanese horror movies being remade in America, the death of Saturday morning cartoons, OEL manga.
