So many members of the Veilguard are so sleepy, you guys. They are so tired. And it doesn’t matter how heroic/traumatized you are. Eventually you will sleep.
Sometimes you fall asleep really hard in the wrong places.
It starts when they find Davrin passed out in his armchair with Assan on top of him (he didn’t want to move and disturb his feathery baby!)
Harding playfully puts a little wooden griffon on his lap: “Haha, now he’s being squished by 2 griffons”
Lucanis: “he’s a warden. He can do hold more than that”
That incident ends with almost the entire wooden menagerie atop him, before Assan gets bored and upsets the whole thing.
One day they find Bellara and see how many blankets and pillows they can give the poor girl instead of the pile of gears she was passed out on.
Now its a game. Even the wisps join in. Taash goes in to consult Neve, and she’s passed out at her desk and and the wisps are covering her in case notes and knickknacks.
Beds (and what counts for beds) are out of bounds, but everywhere else is free game.
There are 0 points for Rook. Rooks falls asleep everywhere and anywhere at the drop of a hat.
Lucanis is 100 points because he’s hard to catch, and Spite could awaken at anytime and send them all screaming when his violet eyes pop open.
It finally escalates (and ends) when Emmrich shoots awake on the green library sofa to find piles of precious books forming a rough throne on his chest with Manfred seated in it.
Everything falls and everyone runs because he is Not Pleased.

🌹 What’s the first genuine fight Rook got in with their love interest about? How was it resolved?
So I gotta get into some canon divergence here: I made Neve the Archon Radonis' estranged daughter because I liked that theory(?)
The first ever big fight Rook and Neve had was when Rook showed her the medallion she had kept from her slavers: a snake symbol reserved to the Archon's family. You can probably see where this is going: Neve is the woman who my Rook was assigned to back when she was a slave. Neve not being able to recognize Rook at first accused her of stealing it (outing herself as the Archon's daughter to Rook and confirming her suspicions) and they were cold towards each other up until Rook saved Minrathous.
It resolved when Neve finally realized who Rook was, they were able to sit down and Rook was able to get some answers about Neve's disappearance a few years before Rook was able to escape and join the Wardens.

I feel like Neve would be in my Rook's regret prison no matter who you choose to dismantle the wards. My canon playthrough had Bellara be taken away, so Neve would get a separate part where we'd navigate throughout Rook's fear of getting abandoned by her again and about how she's "leeching" over the mage.

She's very efficient, going in quick and sharp without a second thought. Her main strategy is to attack and give an opening to mages and archers, but she also finishes off enemies.
That does put her at risks of getting easily hurt.
14. What does Rook see when they look in the mirror?
She sees the young girl who managed to escape the chains of slavery. It gives her a reason to always look forward, and to be confident in her own strength.

Gotten Tattoos: She's covered in them. Someone once told her they'd keep her from being taken back as a slave as most slavers prefer 'blank states'. Though she did get the ones on her face because she found their design pretty.
