we kill the bat man
i know people don't like new 52 superman because it took away his history with lois and eventually shoehorned him with diana out of nowhere, but can i just say n52 clark was adorable and pretty accurately characterized for a younger superman. i hope he's doing well! :) what? he got consumed by pre-flashpoint superman? you mean he. like. just like that? vored? vacuumed? damn
not to appear out of the blue just to post about how i'd kill for a complete reboot of a dc film experience with cavill and affleck still at the helm, less zionists, and more cohesive vision that's not halted by WB, but i'm going to do exactly that. i'd kill for a complete reboot of a dc film experience with cavill and affleck still at the helm, less zionists, and more cohesive vision that's not halted by WB
found out the art in recent batman comics has been ai generated *takes deep cigarette drag* i suggest we kill the bat, boys *i eat the cigarette because it's gum*
here's a twitter thread that explains everything but tl:dr the art Andrea Sorrentino has recently done for some batman comics seems to be ai generated, likely without DC's knowledge since the artist is claiming this is their actual work
the thread very neatly breaks down why it reeks of ai, not even accounting for the fact the artist's older art looks nothing like the one suspected of being ai generated
there's also the fact there's a panel with the joker wearing ripped skinny jeans (but only partially?) and also selina kyle looks like marvel's black cat instead of catwoman. for some reason
i was thinking how i should probably tell people not to give my opinions and thoughts on comics such heavy weight because all my knowledge stops at 2017, what was fact then might simply be a thing of the past now, they've probably learned from their mistakes and attempted to right things, and then i started reading comics again and NOTHING HAS FUCKING CHANGED, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love comics. never change. they won't
