Soft spot in my heart for Tony Stark’s genuine soppingwet pathetic vibe. Common consensus is that this guy is mr confident heartbreaker or whatever meanwhile in actual canon he’s saying shit like ‘I needed u and u weren’t there’ / ‘u were supposed to be my frienddddd’ / ‘u lied to me how could u 💔’ like omg bro could NOT be more romantic heroine sad little yearning losercore if he tried.
maybe i was born to read fanfic and obsess over fictional men idk
Isn't it interesting that when Feyre came to to ask Nesta and Elain to let the bat boys into their home to meet the human queens, it was Nesta who said no because it would ruin Elain’s wedding to someone who despised the Fae and would kill them? And yet, it was Elain who convinced her to allow them into their home because she believed Graysen's father's soldiers couldn’t protect them, but the Fae could. I find it particularly interesting that Elain, who besides growing up hearing horrors about the Fae, was soon to be married to a Fae hunter, wearing a ring forged from his hatred towards them, yet she still allowed them into her home. I mean just imagine how much Graysen must have bragged about the Fae being villains, yet it didn’t prevent her from hosting them .
All of this to talk about the theory that Elain will betray her family and seek Koschei to turn her into a human because she still loves Graysen.
Elain is a very observant and intelligent person. Even when she was human, her love for Grayson didn’t influence her decision to help the Fae ,she didn't run to tell him about them, she kept it a secret because she believed they were fighting for the right cause. After she was turned into Fae, she continued helping them, even while her trauma was still fresh. People who support this theory make Elain seem like she hates the Fae and is very dependent on Graysen, but in fact, she isn’t. She had prejudices about them, which she explained to the bat boys during their first meeting, she understood that not all of them were the humans' enemy, then she became comfortable with one of them and wanted to even learn more about him. Her decisions are always based on what she believes is right. As far as I remember, her last decision was to help the Night Court find the Troves before Koschei could with the help of the Queen.
Elain had a plan for her life and her future, which was turned upside down overnight. She needed time to process everything she went through and to accept the changes. She won’t betray her family for someone who chooses hatred over love, because she believes in love.
Speak louder for the people in the back 👏👏👏
the bond between a girl and their favorite fictional man is both an unstoppable force and an immovable object
