Michael Myers X Reader

Note: this has been sitting in my docs since before valentine’s day, i forgot to post it, so i am posting it late, enjoy!

You sighed as you slung your bag over your shoulder, the throbbing headache that had formed halfway through your shift was now a pounding one, and your legs ached with each step you took. The harsh glare of the fluorescent lights above amplified your headache, leaving you feeling somewhat dizzy. At times, you longed for a job outside of the hospital. The grueling shifts filled with relentless standing and walking, the constant debates with patients over their medication compliance, and the minimal breaks you received significantly impacted your physical and mental well-being. Maybe you'd get in contact with your therapist and schedule another appointment.

"Another late night?" A feminine voice spoke up from behind you. You rolled your eyes as you stopped just before the front doors and turned to face Jackie. Freedom was just in your grasp.

"Uh, yep! I see it's the same for you…" You forced a smile, trying to hide your annoyance, but you were sure you weren't doing a good job when you saw a look of offense flash across Jackie's face.

"Correct. I'm sure you just want to get home… have a good night! See you tomorrow?" Her lips formed a tight smile, she started busying herself on the computer, the quick clicking of keys breaking through the silence.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." You offered a quick wave, spinning on your heel and pushing open the door. A heavy sigh escaped from your lips, and you could feel the familiar burn of someones intense gaze on your back. You ignored it, walking through the mostly empty parking lot, you guessed the only cars left were employees. you were just beginning to think you were free when hurried footsteps approached from behind you.

"Wait! I'm sorry, just hold on a second." You heard the familiar voice of Cole behind you, followed by a hand on your shoulder. You couldn't help the long, annoyed sigh that escaped you before you turned to face him.

"What, Cole? it's what… like midnight? I just want to go home." You quickly spotted the small, heart shaped chocolate box and a singular rose in his hand. Ah, you forgot about Valentine's day, your recent workload was to blame for that.

"I know, I'm sorry. But! Just real quick, I wanted to give you these." He pushed his gifts into your hands with an apologetic smile. "I'll let you get home, stay safe okay?"

Cole was a coworker, you would be lying if you said you weren't aware of the massive crush he had on you. He always stole glances, and took any opportunity to be near you. He was charming, sure. And you might even give him a chance if it weren't for the jealous and possessive murderer that always had an eye on you. Somehow he always knew what you were up to, all while committing hideous acts and having the police go on wild goose chases. You sighed, forcing a smile at Cole.

"Thank you, really. This was sweet of you." He smiled at your words, and you didn't miss the light blush dusting his cheeks. "Goodnight, Cole."

As you stepped through the front door, you kicked off your shoes and set your bag down with a sigh. Making your way into the living room, you placed Cole's gifts on the coffee table before sinking into the soft, inviting cushions of the couch. Finally, you could rest your legs. Your head fell back and you let your eyes flutter shut, allowing yourself a moments rest before you would head upstairs to your bedroom. The faint sound of your back door opening and closing made you peel your eyes open, the recognizable white latex mask entering your vision. Michael stood behind you, his usual cold gaze focusing on your face. You blinked, and he was rounding the couch to take a seat next to you.

You raised your gaze, observing him intently. Although you and Michael shared a deep understanding and trust, he remained unpredictable and could turn hostile without warning. You recalled the moments that had triggered his anger, leaving you with a bruise etched in the shape of a hand around your neck. Your connection wasn’t abusive; rather, he grappled with complex boundaries and expressed his frustrations through violent outbursts, something you were both striving to improve. You couldn’t afford to take another week off work due to the aftermath of his actions.

Michael leaned forward, picking the chocolate box from the table and tilting his head to you, a silent question.

"A coworker gave it to me, not a big deal." You shrugged, being mindful of your words. If Michael didn't like somebody, he got rid of them. The nature of your relationship was ambiguous—definitely not friendly, yet you hesitated to label it as romantic. His jealousy was palpable and swiftly deteriorated your social life. The moment he entered the picture, you found yourself distancing from your friends; it became painfully evident that Michael did not tolerate you engaging with anyone else. Then, tragedy struck when your friend's body was discovered in an alley, leaving you as the last person seen with them, thrusting you into the role of a suspect.

A sudden shift in Michael's demeanor sent a shiver down your spine. "You can eat the chocolate if you want, I don't care for them." You knew he had a sweet tooth, and you secretly hoped distracting him with sweets would make him forget the idea of killing Cole.

Without a moment's pause, he tore open the box. He pushed his mask just above his mouth, and you found it difficult to pull your gaze away from his sharp jawline. As Michael indulged in the chocolates, your mind raced with curiosity about what lay beneath the mask. You took a deep breath and rose to your feet.

"I'm going to bed."

With that, you made your way upstairs to your bedroom, leaving Michael alone with his chocolate. You barely got the chance to think about your relationship with him, the moment your head hit your pillow, you were reminded of how exhausted you were and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

The following morning, as you prepared breakfast for yourself and your sinister housemate, you overheard a chilling news report. From the kitchen, the anchor detailed yet another murder, alleging that Michael Myers was the likely culprit. Your heart raced with anxiety; you were harboring a killer, and it was only a matter of time before the police connected him to your home. As you carried a plate to Michael in the living room, you froze in horror upon seeing the face on the screen. Cole’s body had been discovered in the hospital parking lot early that morning; he appeared to have been on his way inside when he was viciously attacked. Multiple stab wounds marred his back and abdomen, and he lay there, bleeding, until a colleague found him—pale and lifeless after hours alone. You inhaled deeply, steeling yourself to face Michael and hand him his meal. The reality of who he was, the very person you were feeding and tending to each week, crashed down on you like a wave. It was a painful truth, one that made it clear you were entangled in a nightmare, you understood all too well that Michael would not hesitate to hunt you down if you ever tried to escape.

You caught site of something red resting on Michael's lap. A heart shaped chocolate box. He handed it to you while you handed his plate of food to him. Your heart pounded painfully in your chest as you stared at the red box in your hands. It was Michael's way of telling you that you were his for Valentine's day, no one could have you.

Hi! I saw you opened Shadow requests, I wondered if you could do a Shadow x reader where the reader was the result of an experiment, like Shadow, and the two find each other after the 50 years of separation (once Shadow wakes up in the present day). They would've lived on the Space Colony Ark together, and during GUN's invasion, they were separated in the chaos. Shadow is sealed away, not knowing the reader's fate - whether they're alive or dead - and then 50 years later, some time after waking up, he finds them again. I guess it's a kind of angst/hurt-comfort/happy ending type of thing? Anyway, I hope you consider it :)

Ultraviolence

Note: thank you for the request! this one took a little longer because i tried a different style/approach with it and experimented a little with the wording, i hope you enjoy it! lore is a mix of events that took place in the movie, and some from og lore. and side note, all other requests are being on hold, as i am going out of state for my birthday in a few weeks, but ill get back to them when i return!!

. . .

The sound of shouting followed by gunshots rang through the halls of The Ark, the rushed footsteps that seemed to be gaining on you sent a jolt of fear through your body, and you instinctively held onto Maria's hand tighter. You and Shadow could've outran the soldiers, but you both silently agreed to not leave the only family you had behind. Everything was in chaos, people were scattering and pleading for their lives as they had firearms pointed in their face, ear piercing alarms had been set off, an ache beginning to form in your head. You, Shadow, Maria, and Gerald were running from agents of G.U.N, unsure of what fate laid ahead for you all. As you glanced behind you, you could see them aim, an older male was demanding they stand down, but they didn't listen. A shot fired off, the group skidded to a stop and your eyes scanned over everyone in search of where the bullet had hit. Everyone's gaze seemed to be somewhere else, before you could follow it an explosion went off. The impact sent waves of pain throughout your entire body, you felt yourself being flung across the room, your body collided with something solid, and immediately you lost consciousness.

When you came to, the first thing you felt was the throbbing of your head, then the immense pain in all of your limbs. Peeling your eyes open, you were greeted with a white ceiling. Taking in your surroundings, you immediately realized you were in some sort of hospital room. The room being a sterile white, the faint scent of a cleaning agent in the air, and the quiet sound of your heart monitor caused a pit to form in your stomach. Unfortunately, these rooms were never a good sign for you. You were another project alongside Shadow, made to help cure Maria's illness. Like clockwork, you had tests being performed on you, and you were poked and prodded with needles for hours until your skin was sore. Shadow underwent the same treatment, doctors often worked on you both in the same room, you could feel your heart break each time you saw the empty look in Shadows eyes. Luckily, Maria would come around and sneak you two away from the relentless tests to go and watch movies or do some other fun human activity.

Your mind was flooded with the memories of what transpired on The Ark, your body started moving on its own as you began to sit up. All of the wires that were hooked up to you tugged, and any needles they had under your skin pulled uncomfortably. You had to know what happened to Maria and Shadow, you didn't see what happened to them in the explosion, and you weren't sure how long you had been unconscious.

"Welcome back," A feminine voice rang out from beside you, you jumped. You didn't notice her beside you. She was dressed in purple scrubs, holding a clipboard in her hand that you could only assume held all of your information on it. You watched silently as she scribbled a few notes down, then approached you.

"Where are they?" You were surprised by the sound of your own voice, hoarse and quiet, like you hadn't spoken in weeks. The doctor sighed as she began removing some of the wires attached to you.

"I'm sorry."

That was all she said, your heart sunk in your chest. You knew all too well this was doctors favorite thing to say when delivering unfortunate news to waiting families, you can thank all of the sad movies you watched with Maria for that. You sat in your thoughts as the lady in front of you began performing a basic checkup, making sure your health was in order. Shadow was created to be the ultimate lifeform, could he really be taken out by such an explosion? Did he and Maria get the worst of it? You were starting to spiral. What were you supposed to be if Maria was not around anymore, what is the purpose of your life? Would you forever be cursed with being a lab rat?

"If you'd like, I can catch you up to speed with everything." Your doctor finally broke the silence, shining a small light into your eyes. You nodded, waiting for her to continue.

"You've been in a medical induced coma for the past 50 years. The accident you were involved in left you with severe injuries, and everyone agreed to keep you asleep for our own safety," She paused, removing the blue disposable gloves from her hands. "We have woken you up because we have tests we need to run on you. With Shadow no longer around, you're the only thing left for us, and we believe you hold the key to curing even the deadliest illnesses."

A small, yet powerful flame fueled by anger ignited within your chest, providing a warmth no other emotion could. Its flames threatened to grow into something bigger, more dangerous. But you had your hands tightly secured onto its reins, having a firm grasp on the destructive emotion. She talked about keeping you asleep for their safety as if you were going to harm them, like you haven't let them constantly experiment on you without putting up a fight. You've let them draw blood from you until your head spun and vision blurred, you willingly let them bring you to your weakest state and they still think you are hazardous. The mention of Shadow being gone caused your frustration to fizzle out, instead turning into sadness and emotional pain. Your chest constricted painfully, and tears threatened to spill from your eyes. Maria would always tell you and Shadow that you were much more than things to be studied, and, in her words, you were your own people too and could exist outside of the reason you were created. You often saw Maria as the light to your dark and isolated life, she was a saint, undeserving of the illness that had her clutched tightly in its grasp. Maria deserved a long, happy life, and she deserved to return to Earth, her home, and breathe it's fresh air instead of the stuffy air onboard of The Ark. Memories of Shadow and Maria replayed in your mind as doctors and scientists crowded into your small room, approaching you with scary looking devices and whispering among themselves. This was the first time you would be without the comfort of your only family. You glanced over at the door, expecting to see a familiar blonde girl enter, ready to swoop you away from the never ending tests, but she never came. Your eyes wandered the room, looking for the comforting and reassuring gaze Shadow always gave you during times like these, but he was not here either.

Your perception of time was distorted, exacerbated by the absence of clocks or calendars in the facility. Each morning, you were awoken and examined, a routine that felt interminable. It was a grueling schedule: wake up, see several scientists, eat, sleep, and repeat.Your life had been reduced to a meaningless routine. While part of you wished to believe that this was in line with Maria's wishes, that they would find cures for diseases, you knew she would not have wanted it this way. You felt that you were not treated as a living being, but rather as a mere experiment and a subject for medical procedures. This caused you to feel angry.

In Japan, located far away from civilization was a G.U.N facility. Inside, they harbored a very dangerous and important project. Project Shadow. He was suspended inside of a tube, forced into an eternal sleep state. Inside of this tube, he could recall the memories of a girl, she played guitar, danced with him, and introduced him to movies. Next to this girl was another project, just like him. You overtook his memories and thoughts, flashbacks of the time you two spent together playing in his mind. He could vividly remember the sound of your voice, the tired look in your eyes, and the giggle that seemed to only come out when Maria was around. He remembers the explosion, he was knocked unconscious but only for a few minutes. He remembers Maria's body, the physical and emotional pain he felt upon realizing she was gone, that she was taken from him. You were his next priority, he searched the rubble for your body, but did not find it. Finally, through all of the commotion, he could see G.U.N agents carrying your unconscious body in a small, cramped crate. From where he stood he could only make out some of your injuries, broken limbs, stray metal pieces had pierced through your skin, you were in critical condition. Shadow was confused, alone, and scared. The two things he held dearest to him had just been taken from him, in the blink of an eye. It was devastating. It was infuriating. Shadow was aware that he was being held asleep, and that only angered him more. He needed to know what happened to you, if you were dead or alive.

The guards that were in charge of watching Shadow noticed a spike in his vitals, immediate worry washing over him and the others. His containment tank was destabilizing, Project Shadow was waking up. The guards readied their firearms, exchanging worried glances. Crimson eyes shot open, the atmosphere in the room growing increasingly dark. Shadows heart and mind was gripped tightly by the hands of rage, his whole body felt like it was burning. In one swift motion, he had punched through the glass that separated him from the G.U.N agents. Liquid poured from the tank, and a soaking Shadow stood, fists clenched and eyes glowing with anger. Before the guards could get a chance to shoot, the hedgehog was already taking them out. With ease, he knocked each one out, one by one. His thoughts were clouded by rage, and he would stop at nothing until he found you, and took revenge for what happened to Maria.

Under the twinkling lights of the night sky, the moon met the ocean in a passionate but momentary kiss. His fists clenched so tightly he dared to draw blood, eyes burning with a fire only the sun could possess. The water laid calm tonight, light ripples across the glimmering surface. Inside of the heart of the ebony hedgehog, waves crashed angrily against each other, roaring so loudly the calm, more reasonable thoughts could barely be heard.

The surface was disturbed by the hastened movement above it, Shadows air shoes providing reassurance that he wouldn't plummet into the dark depths of the water beneath him as he rushed toward the main land of Japan. Unfortunately, he was already drowning and he didn't know it. The neon lights that brought life to the city were the first thing he noticed when he made it onto the streets. Skidding to a stop, he took a moment to take in his surroundings. Maria always talked about how beautiful Earth was, and she couldn't wait for the day she could return. Now, as Shadow stood in the middle of the street, a passing car splashing water onto him, the only feeling that gripped his heartstrings were pain and grief for everything he had lost that day G.U.N raided The Ark. His attention then focused on a large sign on a building, it was then he realized he had been asleep for 50 years. He was treated like some sort of alien, thrown into a tube and sealed away for decades. Maria had always treated him like a brother, despite his origins she never looked at him with fear like others did. She always welcomed Shadow with open arms and reassuring words, as she did with you as well.

The sound of an overhead helicopter and approaching vehicles snapped him from his thoughts, that previous fiery rage replacing the grief and loneliness he was feeling. He had no idea where you were— if you were even alive, but he knows that G.U.N last had a hold of you, and if anyone knew where you were being kept, it was them. He made swift work of the agents, being sure to keep one alive so he could inquire about your whereabouts.

"Where… are they?" He growled into the ear of a driver, gun pressed into their temple. The driver trembled, hands shaking as he gripped the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white.

"I- I don't know who you're talking about!" The driver exclaimed, eyes screwing shut as he awaited his inevitable demise.

"Y/N? Does that ring a bell?" Shadow pushed the muzzle of the gun roughly against his skull, the driver was visibly sweating bullets upon the mention of your name. This caused Shadow to quirk his brow. "You know who I'm talking about."

"They are- they are being held in a facility off-grid!" He cried, for an agent of G.U.N he was easily shaken up, that was possibly why he was given the job of just being a driver, tasked to take experienced soldiers out on the field.

Shadow held the man at gunpoint as he drove him as close as he could get him to the facility you were being held at, other members of G.U.N were aware of the situation, and were sending reinforcements. The fiery storm that was raging within the hedgehogs mind easily burned away the reasonable thoughts that crept in his thoughts, causing him to be reckless with his decisions. In his mind, he was doing the right thing, taking revenge for what G.U.N did to Maria, and finding you. Shadow knew he was probably considered a criminal due to him taking the lives of officials, and if he were caught they would not be so nice to him. But, he was confident in his ability to get through just about anything the universe decided to throw his way, He was The Ultimate Lifeform, after all.

After not long, the armored vehicle came to a stop somewhere on the edge of Japan, and in the distance Shadow could see the lights of the building you were supposedly in. His heart drummed against his rib cage, doubt that you were even here slithered its way into his mind. He didn't know what he would do with himself if he got inside, and you were nowhere to be found. He didn't want to imagine the pain he would feel if he found out you never made it, and fell from the injuries you suffered from the explosion.

"Have you been drinking enough water?" Your doctor, who's name you learned was Shauna, asked. She had the tendency to act very caring towards you, giving you false hope that maybe she did see you as more than just something that was created in a lab, but then she would go back to acting cold and indifferent towards you, the change in her demeanor happened too quick for you to process.

"Uh, yeah." You answered slowly, watching intently as she began to take your blood pressure. You weren't sure how long it had been since you first woke up, but all of the tests had been put on a halt, which you were thankful for. Your routine now consisted of waking up, having a bland breakfast, and wandering around the building until it was time to sleep again. Much to your un-luck, there wasn't a lot for you to do, it made you miss Maria. She always had something for you to do, whether it be watching a movie, arts and crafts, or an activity that had the possibility of getting you all into trouble, there was always something to keep you entertained. Now, your days were filled with boredom and loneliness, none of the doctors had any interest in bonding with you, they probably thought you didn't possess any type of personality or had likes or dislikes.

Suddenly, an ear piercing alarm rang through the hallways, and the once blinding white lights overhead now flashed red. Your doctor visibly jumped, confusion taking over her previously blank expression. You covered your ears, shielding your eardrums from the shrieking noise. Shauna was quick to put down whatever she had in her hands, shuffling to poke her head out of the room and watch as multiple guards rushed by, shouting incoherently.

"I'm gonna go and see what's up, okay?" Shauna shouted over the alarm, swiveling her neck to look back at you. Once you had nodded, confirming you heard her, she rushed out of the door, disappearing into the crowd of confused and worried doctors and guards. This situation quickly reminded you of the events that transpired on The Ark, it caused a pit to form in your stomach, and you curled your knees into your chest in order to comfort yourself.

Due to the door being left slightly ajar, you could clearly hear the distance screams and the loud, rapid gunfire that started going off. You started questioning if yet another raid was happening, and if it was your fault. Last time, it was because you and Shadow were deemed too dangerous. Anxiety bubbled in your belly, and you silently prayed that was not the case. The alarm had thankfully ceased, giving your ears rest from its relentless blaring. You were just beginning to uncover your ears when all of the commotion outside of your room abruptly stopped, the air becoming eerily still and silent.

Light, but rapid footsteps resonated through the dimly lit hallway, accompanied by the unmistakable sounds of the doors being forcefully flung open one after another. With an intense focus, your gaze was fixed on the door in front of you, and an instinctual urge to retreat further back on the bed took over. The pounding of your heart was so overwhelming it felt as though it was echoing in your very ears, while a cold sweat began to trickle from your palms to your fingertips. You were left in a state of utter confusion and dread, uncertain of who it was that lurked outside and terrified of what their intentions could be, especially as you heard them muttering to themselves while scouring the corridor, a silent prayer whispering in your mind that weren't seeking you.

Their footsteps stopped just in front of your door, a white hand gripped the door, slowly pushing it open. You shuffled off of the bed, taking a stance and preparing to defend yourself from whomever was on the other side of the door. You were confident that you would be able to put up a fight, and possibly escape. Knowing how G.U.N operates, reinforcements and backup were probably on the way. Whoever had attacked was clearly an experienced fighter, enough that they took out several guards within minutes. You wondered if this person was alone or with a group.

Cautiously, a raven hedgehog with red highlights crossed the threshold of the room, his burning gaze scanning the vicinity.

You let out a breath you hadn't even realized you were holding, as if the weight of the world had suddenly been lifted from your shoulders. A familiar sensation kindled in your chest, igniting all of the yearning and longing you had felt for so long. Relief washed over you like a wave crashing against a rock for the first time, enveloping you in an overwhelming sense of ease and comfort. Your feet, almost guided by an invisible force, moving on their own as you took a hesitant step forward, cautiously testing the waters of this surreal moment, desperately trying to confirm whether what you were witnessing was truly real or perhaps just a vivid dream created by your mind. Could it really be that he traveled all this way just to find you and reunite? Hope ignited in your chest like a flame, flickering with the possibilities of what this moment could mean for the both of you.

Shadows eyes widened, the pressure between his brows loosening as his gaze finally landed on you. His heart had felt so empty, and cold, cobwebs and dust were all that filled his heart. For all of those years he spent in suspended animation, he only felt the icy heat of hatred towards humanity for what they had done to you and Maria, and he spent countless hours planning how he would take revenge. But, as your appalled expression reflected from his eyes, his heart warmed with someone a little more gentle, welcoming. The feeling was foreign, but he embraced it with open arms. Your name fell from his tongue in a single breath, it was so quiet you almost didn't catch it.

Without wasting another precious second, you threw your arms around his neck in a desperate embrace, warm tears cascading down your cheeks that you hadn't even noticed welling up. Shadow initially stiffened at your sudden gesture, yet he quickly relaxed, slowly enveloping your back with his reassuring arms, as if craving this connection as much as you did. Time felt as though it had come to a standstill, and you melted entirely into his embrace, his fur damp yet soft against your skin, and he radiated a comforting warmth that made you yearn to snuggle into him. In that moment, it felt like two rivers merging into one, your souls intertwined effortlessly. Sparks of forgotten flames of joy and love came to life, while the world around you faded into mere background noise, leaving only the pure bliss of your reunion to fill the air.

. . .

The sun cast warm, refreshing rays to the earth beneath her, allowing plant life to receive the sunlight it needed for growth, and providing the perfect day for everyone to get out and enjoy a breath of fresh air. You were sat at home, gazing out of your window and awaiting your boyfriends return. Today proved to be a nice day, and you desired to go out and enjoy it, instead of staying inside and missing out on the comforting weather. The harsh winters recently made you miss the warmth and beauty of summer, and so you were excited for when Shadow returned from his trip to the market. You had eagerly asked him if he could spend a few hours outside with you, and he agreed, needing a day of peace to relax. You told him you wanted to have a picnic, but didn't have any fruits or snacks to bring, he offered to make a quick trip to grab some.

With a sigh, you pushed yourself up from the couch and strolled into the kitchen, beginning to prepare waters and simple sandwiches to bring along with you. You heard the click of the front door opening and poked your head around the corner to see a familiar raven hedgehog stepping in. He ran a frustrated hand through his highlighted quills, which were due for a touch up soon. Quickly, you washed your hands and hurried over to him. You took the paper bag that carried the fruits you requested from his hands, and placed them on the kitchen counter.

Taking Shadows gloved hands into yours, you offered him a warm smile. "Hey, try and relax today, okay?"

He had a tendency to take on workloads greater than he could handle, he wanted to believe he could take on multiple problems at once, but it would lead to him being overworked and stressed, which in the end, made him moody and not fun to be around.

With a quick, subtle nod, Shadow snaked his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder, inhaling your comforting scent. You smiled, beginning to gently stroke the top of his head. You knew better than trying to force a conversation with someone who already didn't like them, and on top of that was stressed out of their mind. Today was a day for you two to relax together and enjoy each other's presence, and the warm weather.

Reluctantly, you pulled away from his embrace and got to work washing the fruits and putting them into containers to bring along for the picnic. Shadow had made himself comfortable on the couch, enjoying the pleasant silence that settled in your home. Not long after, you two were setting off towards a secluded spot for the picnic.

Arriving in a small field, beneath a large tree that provided some shade, Shadow threw down a soft blanket over the lush grass before settling down. The field you two were in was beautiful, with blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies, the breeze was warm and provided a relaxing environment. Shadows expression seemed much more relaxed in this setting, the crease between his brows seemed to have less tension, and his lips rested in a fine line. You enjoyed seeing him like this, it was a rare sight, and you learned to savor every moment of it. With a content smile on your face, you sat down next to Shadow, placing the basket of goods in front of you. You felt a sudden weight on your shoulder, when you looked over you were greeted with the sight of your boyfriend resting his head on your shoulder, eyes fluttering shut.

Your heart swelled, and you reached into the basket and pulled out strawberries along with some chocolate you had melted before. You knew Shadow was not the biggest fan of sweets, but he seemed to enjoy chocolate covered strawberries a lot. Most weekends, if he were home, he would pepper you with kisses while shyly asking if you could make him some, it was an adorable interaction, The Ultimate Lifeform asking you to make him his favorite treat instead of buying cheap, store bought ones.

Dipping a strawberry into the chocolate, you brought it up to his mouth. "Open."

He quirked his brow, but parted his lips for you. You fed him the chocolate covered strawberry, he hummed with confusion, which then turned into a hum of satisfaction as he chewed.

"Good?"

"It's good, thank you." His eyes slowly opened as he lifted his head to look at you. His gaze was filled with nothing but affection for you, it made your heart warm.

You chuckled, reaching your hand up to his face and wiping away some chocolate that smeared. Bringing your thumb to your lips, you licked the excess. You watched as Shadows eyes slightly widened, and he stared at you with a blush creeping up his cheeks. Before you could ask him what was wrong, his hand was cupping your cheek and his lips were pressed against yours in a deep kiss. Your heart skipped a beat, his fur was soft beneath your fingertips as your arms instinctively wrapped around his neck, pulling him flush against you. You felt him smile against your lips, his free hand moving to the small of your back. His tongue pressed against the entrance of your mouth, and with pleasure you allowed his tongue to slip past your lips. He had the subtle taste of chocolate and strawberry on his tongue. A soft moan rumbled in his chest, a delicious sound that ignited butterflies in your belly. You yearned for more, to have him closer, despite having him pressed against your chest, but your lungs begged for air and you would have to part from the kiss.

With flushed cheeks and swollen lips, you rested your forehead against his, breathing heavily. He looked at you with half lidded eyes, and parted lips as his thumb tenderly rubbed your cheek.

"Shadow…" You began, fingers unconsciously twirling the fur on the back of his neck.

"Shut up." His tone was soft and sarcastic as he pulled you into another kiss, but this time it was brief, just to get another taste of your lips and hear the delectable sound you made when his lips connected with yours. When he pulled away this time, he shuffled to rest his head in your lap, demanding you to feed him more strawberries, to which you happily obliged.

Go ahead and spoil it because HUH

there is more than one killer. technically there is three, but one of them gets killed and he was just a "fanboy".

the other two killers, they are a couple, and their kink is literally killing other couples, they find it hot.

i dont even remember the main characters name because of how uninterested i was the entire movie, but there is a main girl and a main guy, they work at the same place, the guy asks the girl to a fancy restaurant and its not a date, but it kind of was.

anyway, they end up kissing (note that they havent even known each other for 24 hours). the two killers think that the two main characters chemistry is soooo good and that is why they hunt them down for the whole movie. the plot is so stupid. the end of the movie the killers kidnap the guy, and hold his life and demand for the girl to come and save them. they reveal who they are, and they are actually people we have seen before, but they were just side characters then.

they give this speech about love and how killing is a kink, then show the main girl a gun, which has one bullet in it. they tell her to either shoot the main guy, and she didnt love him, or shoot herself to save his life.

she ends up shooting him... in the shoulder, and it goes right through and shoots the girl killer in the abdomen.

the ending was stupid. the entire movie was stupid. do not spend money on ticket to see it in theaters, or if you are that curious about it then go ahead, but to me the movie was a huge flop LOL

Sorry his motive is a KINK???

yes, im assuming you have not seen the movie yet, and i dont know if you care for spoilers, but yes, and there is a reasoning behind it

so i just saw heart eyes, and i thought id give my official opinion. hate it. i despise that movie. now, i am not a fan of comedy by any means, but i can appreciate brief scenes of it in serious movies.

heart eyes as a film felt like it was all over the place, and the acting was terrible. it felt like they were trying to give real acting, cartoon acting, and it made me cringe. the scenes of them trying to be funny and lighthearted while someone is attempting to murder them threw me off.

the whole "he wants to kill us, if he doesnt hes going to keep killing couples" line made me physically ill. romance and horror are genres that can pair very well together, when done right. heart eyes completely ruined that.

now, i can understand why other people like the movie, sure its a comedic relief from more gory, serious horror movies, but it felt sloppy. from the trailer, i was not expecting all of the comedy, so i went in expecting real slasher, which is probably why i am so disappointed.

not to mention, the killers motive being a kink is very questionable. sure, it can be funny, but to me it just felt really odd.

overall, i hate the movie and im very disappointed.

Hello~!!! Could you write a shadow x gn! reader fic of shadow taking reader out for valentines day? take your time, thank you!!

I believe in a thing called Love - Shadow x Reader

Note: thank you for the request! i hope you enjoy :) all other requests are in the works currently

You sighed with disappointment, fingers lightly thrumming along the armrest of the couch. The TV played a movie in the background, providing a comfortable atmosphere for you to get lost in your thoughts. Shadow promised you weeks ago that you two would do something nice for Valentine's day, you hadn't figured out what exactly, but you assumed he would come up with something. You didn't care if you stayed in, or went out, you just wanted to enjoy the company of your partner for the day. Shadow was often busy, but he tried his best to make every moment he was home a memorable one. You took a glance at the window, the sky had already begun to darken, splashes of pink and orange painting the previously blue canvas as the sun kissed the horizon. Doubt was creeping in despite how many times you told yourself Shadow never broke promises. He has made you many promises throughout your relationship, and he has not broken one, yet.

A white flash assaulted your retinas, you instinctively screwed your eyes shut until it was over. Shadow stood just in the entryway of the living room, his lips resting in a fine line and his brows naturally furrowed.

"Welcome home." You sighed, leaning your chin against your palm. Maybe he forgot what day it was, that made you disappointed. Shadow didn't seem like someone who forgets days that are important to you, he tries his best to be the perfect partner for you, despite him being very closed off. He is not good with words, but he makes up for it through actions. There has been instances in your relationship where you become frustrated with him because you cant quite understand what goes on through his head, and he doesn't tell you. In these moments Shadow will get quiet, approach you with a soft look in his eyes and tell you he's sorry, all while peppering kisses along your face. This is usually enough to make you forgive him.

From the corner of your eye, you could see Shadow begin to approach. You were expecting an excuse as to why he had been gone all day, followed up by an apology. His gloved hand outstretched toward you, beckoning you to take it. You looked up with a quirked brow to see a fond smile dancing across his lips. "I want to take you somewhere."

Slowly, you placed your hand in his, and he gave you a gentle yet firm squeeze as he pulled you up from the couch. Excitement bubbled in your chest, was he finally taking you out? You couldn't help the grin that stretched across your lips and the giggle that escaped you as Shadow swooped you into his arms, carrying you bridal style.

"Close your eyes, it's a surprise." His breath was warm against your ear, you could feel the vibrations from his chest as he spoke. You obliged, letting your eyes flutter shut.

"Is this my valentines surprise?"

"You'll see." You felt the soft sensation of his lips on your forehead for a split moment before it was gone, you yearned for more. Shadows grasp on you tightened before you heard him call out 'Chaos Control', behind your closed lids you could see the bright flash, and you clung onto him as the world around you began to warp and change.

The soft thud of Shadows feet planting on the ground broke the silence, next came the soft chirping of birds and a gentle cool breeze. You shivered, nuzzling into the warmth of your boyfriend, who chuckled at you. "Are we there yet?"

"Yes, you may open your eyes now." Shadow slowly set you onto your feet, keeping his hand on your lower back until you could balance yourself. You let your eyes peel open and take in your surroundings, a soft gasp escaping from your lips. In front of you was a small, but fancy diner you always dreamt of coming to. It emitted an intimate and elegant atmosphere with its dark colors, and warm overhead lighting. From outside of the glass entrance doors you could see empty two seater tables that had fancy white cloths draped over them. On top of the tables were menus, empty wine glasses and a lit candle in the middle. You stared in awe, mouth slightly agape before you spun to face shadow.

"You shouldn't have! I mean really, this place is so expensive and, gosh, this is for, like, anniversary dinners-"

"Price does not matter to me. You are always talking about this diner and how much you would love to eat here one day, that day is today. I'm sorry for being absent all day, it was much harder to rent out the place than I thought." He cut you off with a shake of his head, stepping forward and taking your hand into his. He wore a fond smile as he placed a kiss on your knuckles. "You deserve to eat at all of the fancy restaurants you desire." His half-lidded gaze set butterflies off in your stomach, and you felt heat quickly form on your cheeks.

"Thank you, Shadow. This is really sweet of you." You offered him a warm smile before he started leading you inside. Upon stepping in, warm air hugged you like a blanket, immediately soothing the chills you had from being outside. A hostess greeted you both and led you to your table, it was located near a window, giving you view of the setting sun over the ocean. You thanked the hostess as you sat down across from shadow, taking the menu in your fingertips and scanning through it. You hadn't expected him to rent out an entire restaurant for you two, let alone such an expensive one. You made a mental note to thank him again later. After choosing what you were going to order you placed the menu back on the table only to be greeted by a pair of crimson eyes looking at you.

"Something on my face?" You asked with a chuckle, resting your hands in your lap.

"Just admiring you." His voice was just above a whisper, he had his face leaning against his hand. Somehow, even though you two were in a relationship he never failed to make you feel like you were crushing on him all over again. He still had the ability to make you blush like crazy, and get shy with him. It was rare that Shadow acted cheesy and romantic, but when he did he had your heart racing and your face as red as a tomato. A smirk played across his lips as you blushed at his words, turning your gaze to anything but him. Not long after a waitress came and took your orders, quickly scurrying off as to not disturb your romantic evening.

While waiting for your food and drinks, you let yourself get lost in the view beside you. The sky was beginning to dark, allowing for it's stars to shine beautifully. The reflection of the sun on the water paired with the stripe of orange in the sky created a picture worthy sight. However, as you glanced back to the hedgehog in front of you, you concluded that he was the better view, one that would not disappear when night fell, one that did not change throughout the days, he remained the same, he remained perfect. Sunsets can easily be covered by gloomy clouds, shielding it's beauty from the rest of the world. There were no clouds to cover Shadows beauty, every day, he would shine brightly, like the sun to your moon, but he would never set. He was always visible to you, the warmth of his rays always there to keep your heart and soul from becoming too cold.

You watched as Shadow opened his mouth to say something, he hesitated, looked away, then looked back to you with certainty in his eyes. "I love you."

Shadow the Hedgehog X Reader

A valentine's confession

Note: first time writing for this silly guy, expect more vday related posts. i might open requests again soon, ive been in a depression episode for a hot minute now so this is the first thing ive written in a few days, i love him so much. Requests for him are open!

Shadow stood at your front door, hesitating to knock. For months you had enthusiastically shared your excitement for Valentine's day, mentioning it daily. During this time, Shadow wrested with his feelings. Each time you appeared with that radiant smile, he felt a spark in his chest that drew him closer to you than anyone else. He found himself paying more attention to your words and frequently caught himself admiring you from afar. Yet, he couldn't quite place his finger on what this feeling was, or, he was just in denial about them. As Valentine's day approached, with the sun dipping below the horizon, Shadow couldn't shake the worry of your absence. After all the excitement you had generated around this day, you had vanished just when it finally arrived. He asked others where you were, but no one knew

Finally, with a long sigh, he drew three sharp knocks to your door. He could hear muffled groans, a few clattering sounds, some muttered curses, and finally the unmistakable sound of locks turning as you opened your door. Instantly, he took in your disheveled state: the dullness in your eyes, the tangled mess of your hair, and the wrinkled clothes that suggested a sleepless night. You sniffled, surprise flashing across your face.

"Shadow! What's up? Did you need somethin'?" You asked, leaning against the door-frame. Shadow quickly realized that you were sick, and that was why you were cooped up in your house all day.

"Do you have a cold?"

"Oh, uh, yeah. Unfortunately came down with it last night and, man, this is a rough one. Usually a little cold doesn't keep me in bed all day but this one sure did!" You explained, your voice was hoarse, no doubt from all the coughing you were probably doing.

Shadow quirked an eyebrow at you. "Have you been taking medication?"

vincent often makes you pose so he can draw you. you’re stuck in awkward positions for a few hours while he studies and memorizes your body to draw. he notes all of your curves, the slight dip in your hips, a few long scars that line your back and your thighs. he briefly wonders how you got them, and plans to ask you later if you’re comfortable sharing. he makes sure to add the barely noticeable freckles across your face, and the birthmark that was so delicately placed on your jawline.

vincent is very satisfied with his work, he thinks he has captured you perfectly in his drawing, and he is excited to show you. you’re glad to finally be able to move and stretch. your heart flutters in your chest when he shows you the drawing, to see how someone else views you through their eyes feels surreal, you are so used to seeing yourself through mirrors, or cameras, that you overlook details about yourself that vincent didn’t. you didnt notice the tiny freckles on your collarbone, or the small moles on your mid back. you were sure vincent had memorized all these physical details about you. he already had your favorite foods and drinks memorized, he knew what toppings on pizza you preferred, how many ice cubes you liked to have in your drinks. he was a man that paid close attention to detail, but that wasn’t surprising given how he made such beautiful but intricate wax sculptures, he was talented, and you praised him every day for that.

he was also very caring toward you, a trait his brother, Bo, didn’t exactly possess. vincent always made sure to include you in things so you wouldn’t feel left out, he would let you draw in his sketch book, something he didn’t even let his brother touch— for some reason. you’ve looked through his sketches, and found nothing bad, so you weren’t sure why he guarded it so much. if anything, his sketches were beautiful, you even found a few he did of you, and you could easily tell that he did these on a whim when sitting near you. they weren’t as detailed as others, just a quick something to busy his hands, or maybe he just wanted to capture your face in that moment.

vincent loved you dearly, and you could feel it through his actions and words… or letters. that was another thing he did. late at night, when he was left with nothing but his thoughts, he would write you heartfelt letters explaining all of the traits he loved about you. these letters were often multiple pages, to make up for all of the things he doesn’t say.

in conclusion, he is an amazing partner, and you love everything about him, and everything that comes with being with him, which includes his brother, who can be a bit mean sometimes, but you’ve learned not to take it to heart.

Thoughts on the Heart Eyes movie that’s coming out?

Avatar

mixed feelings honestly, especially since it’s coming from the people who made scream. the movie is either going to be terrible, or it’ll be an okay movie.

the concept of a valentine slasher is nice, i like my bloody valentine better though. so i don’t have a solid opinion on it yet, but i will after i see the full movie!

BET?!? Okay then next request, my boys Steve and Billy (separate) with a preferably fem s/o that’s usually a huge coward, like can’t handle bugs, heights or dogs, but anytime they deal with demogorgons or demodogs, they’re the first to jump into action, pretty please and thank you

Fearless

Billy Hargrove & Steve Harrington x Fem!Reader

Note: Scheduled post. By the time this posts i’ll be taking a brief break from requests, but fear not as they shall return soon!

Steve

Steve loved protecting you from innocent little bugs that happened to get in the way of your daily life, it was a boost to his ego and he felt good about protecting you, even if was from just a tiny little thing. There's been several instances where you would be staying over at his house, and he would hear a shreek come from the bathroom. When he rushes in, he finds you in the farthest corner, terrified out of your mind. He will chuckle a little when you point to the tiniest spider that's sat on the sink, when you tell him it's not funny and get angry, he will immediately straighten up, remove the spider and comfort you.

With this in mind, it's safe to say he is absolutely stunned when you take his bat and start defending the group from some demodogs. You're terrified of almost everything, like harmless bugs, heights and large bodies of water, even regular dogs, but when it came down to demogorgons or demodogs, you were one of the first people to jump into action.

He didn't know you could even possess strength like that. The pure determination and focus on your face as you're skillfully swinging his bat at these monsters is enough to make him stare in awe. Boy did he find it so attractive. Nancy had to give him a hard punch to his arm to get his head back in the game, but he would be replaying this moment in his head for months after.

He would walk up to you after all the chaos has ended, rub away some dirt that was on your face, and question when you got so fearless.

"Me? Fearless? You must be talking to the wrong person." You laugh, handing his bat back to him and patting his shoulder as you walked by him. Steve doesn't know what to think, and when you go back to your usual self, calling for his help when you find yourself cornered by the smallest stray dog, he is left dumbfounded.

Every time, he will be surprised, but everytime you somehow become more attractive to him. There were a couple of times when he purposefully put himself into danger so you could save him, he trusted you enough, best believe he was swooping you up and kissing you passionately.

Billy

Billy would always tease you about your irrational fears, sometimes he would grab you cricket and start waving it in your face, cackling when you start screaming and running away from him. He didn't mind protecting you from these horrifying bugs, dogs, or anything else you were afraid of, if anything he quite enjoyed it, mostly because he got to tease you for it.

You could recall a time when you were on a peaceful date with him, seated comfortably in the outside area of a restaurant. A stray dog had approached, and while Billy encouraged it to come over, you wanted to be as far away from this dog as possible. Nothing happened for you to be so afraid of dogs, you just were.

Billy wanted you to step out of your comfort zone, urging you to give the dog the scraps of your meal. You did, but that was the first and last time you would be interacting with them, being too shaken up afterwards to even think of stepping out of your comfort zone again.

So, when you and Billy were with the rest of the group, figuring out an ongoing mystery and then were suddenly attacked by two demogorgons, his immediate instinct was to shield you behind him and protect you. Much to his surprise, you grabbed a nearby plank and positioned yourself at the front of the group, ready to fight off these monsters. At first, he yelled for you to get back, afraid that you were being reckless and would get hurt.

He was speechless upon watching you fight the demogorgon with such bravery, part of him was still scared that you were going to get hurt, but after several seconds of watching you fight, he was sure that you had it all handled.

Of course, after the demogorgons were defeated, he pulled you aside and gently scolded you, telling you not to do that again and that you put yourself in a dangerous position. You defended yourself, but Billy quickly reminded you that you were afraid of cute dogs and harmless crickets, which made you blush in embarrassment.

"Well I handled it, didn't I?"

"You did, but you won't ever be doing that again." Billy chuckled as his hands found their place on your hips, pulling you against him as he placed a quick kiss to your lips before resting his chin atop your head.
