I had a dream that Tango was designing Decked Out 3 and through a series of convoluted dream logic events he and Cleo ended up being attacked by some creature he’d created (kind of like the redstone monstrosity from Minecraft Dungeons)
And in this fight he slipped up and called Cleo by their real name and their real name was Hannah
(Also it was framed as me watching a video of this and it was episode 259 at about 33-34 minutes into it)
unrealistic. even if tango knew cleo's real name - which he doesn't - he wouldn't call them that. he doesn't even call himself by his real name

Might F around and write a fic based on the expectation that the fandom had after DL that if C!Gem were there, she would have been kind and understanding to C!Pearl and pushed her away from the edge (at least based on all the fics from that time period), vs the reality now that we have C!Gem in the Life Series that she is probably the biggest person pushing for C!Pearl to go back to being like how she was in DL, including actively trying to get the majority of the server to side against her in WL and saying she's pathetic when the Scarlet Pearl fails to manifest.
Like maybe after DL Pearl often talks to Gem for comfort, needing a shoulder to cry on who isn't in the games. And she thinks Gem understands how painful it was, Gem says she understands.
But while Gem gets how much the isolation and the rejection probably hurt, the part she can't quite wrap her head around is when Pearl insists she didn't want to hurt anyone. They are death games aren't they? And Pearl won, in the end. She won by killing four people (two people? Gem isn't sure how those count). Never mind that Pearl only killed them for revenge, that they were the last few left who weren't her soulbound, that she spent most of the game running and hiding. If Gem was in the games, she knows killing and intimidating people would probably be her own best bet. She's not sneaky like Pearl is able to be sometimes. She's got a reputation to live up to, and so does Pearl, so why doesn't Pearl want to embrace that?
So when she finally is in them, she doesn't get why Pearl wouldn't want to at least try to be the Scarlet Pearl again. And even when she's mad at her, after SL, she still wants her to survive. That's why she pushes for Scarlet Pearl to come back the way she does. She wants to see Pearl at her best. And Pearl doesn't get why Gem would want her to hit rock bottom again.

gem's insecurities are about not being good enough, strong enough, smart enough - she wants to see people at their "best", wildly free of their inhibitions. she actively pokes and prods and wants things to descend into life-and-death chaos. it might have something to do with how she came into the series - "scar is your favourite son, kill etho" - but she's consistently been the one to push things. it's most obvious in wild life, she's delighted whenever someone breaks the veneer of civility, whether that's mumbo trying to kill her, cleo burning her barn, or pearl going red
but pearl doesn't want that. she doesn't want to fall again, to relive the lowest moment of her life. she doesn't want to be free. she wants to be surrounded by people she cares for. she doesn't want to be free - she wants to be loved. maybe on some level she still doesn't know if she deserves it

You know what really fucking Annoys Me about internet censorship is stuff like swear words being heavily censored because that's entirely an American cultural hangup being forced on the rest of us. I don't know a single country where swearing is as taboo as it is in America. In fact most languages have swear words that would have the same effect on an American as giving a Victorian chimney sweep a pepsi max cherry.
Demonitizing Irish people's videos for having swear words in them is a kind of hate crime and psychological torture I think.
