Omg hi Keeli! Nice to make your acquaintance. My original name (Keeli-Riptide) was created by using a generated gamer tag website way back in the day. Like early Xbox 360 days. I still use that tag & other variations like the one here. While it may not be my birth name, i have adopted it 😂

I think generally the paint effects your talking about are short strokes and bolder colors. I have a habit for better or worse of not blending, which tends to make everything look piece-y.
