So reminder to everyone for the Bean Au Moon has always been New Moon.
Which due to all the Nexus things puts more light on his Identity issues on being compared to Moon (fascinating too, i saw many people talk about that WAYYY before dark sun).
Anyway recent comic where we do get KC squinting very hard about this Moon's growing issues about Old Moon. And we know me. Immediate father figure KC sitting there like 'Oh not another one'.
A small tidbit of a thought cause I don't know what I'll do with this yet, similar with Earth and KC's comic. Conceptual but its there.
Me remembering canon and going 'hmnnn i know its written as it goes but would've been interesting for THEM to have a talk.'

Holds up Eclipse now that eaps is going into his Moon memories a lot I wanna talk about how I interpret what an Eclipse is made of (and some of the others).
Eclipse has some of Moon's memories, but he is a kill code infected Sun code wise. And this isn't entirely unfounded, despite Sun still having the moon mode available to him Eclipse has only ever shown up as a solar model, implying that yes he was influenced by Sun's code or else he would have just been a Moon. Eclipse was split from Moon but most of what got split was the kill code specifically, and Sun filled in the gap where Moon's code would be.
This explains his appearance and voice (being able to mimic Sun + sharing some vocal quirks because same va), but also gives me free reign to have Eclipse and Sun share many traits. Which is very fun to me and that + Eclipse being in Sun's head in a different way than Moon means they are more alike and can understand each other more than they'd ever like to admit. Though this isn't always positive since it also means we get Sun snapping and viewing Eclipse as the worst extension of himself he needs to destroy, or Eclipse projecting on Sunpea and making his flaws seem harsher than they actually are. Lunar and Bloodmoon are different than Eclipse but the same thing applies. They are mostly Moon code wise and canonically share traits (all moon models sharing the same phobias and Lunar and Moon both having the same opinion on jam I think(?) being mentioned). Eclipse used Sun for inspiration for Lunar but he was primarily influenced by Moon's code in his head. This is purely hc but least one BM twin has some Sun code influence from being made in his head, but it's so little that traits aren't obvious and they can't mimic him (unlike Eclipse even though they all have the same va) while the other can mimic Moon.
I wanted to do one with Eclipse and Earth hanging out.
