Obama and Biden could've really dismantled ICE in any of the 12 years they were presidents and they didn't, so they set the stage for all of this to literally happen.
yeah under the biden administration DHS created a rule (circumvention of lawful pathways rule if u wanna look it up) that made Most ppl ineligible for asylum if they didnt enter the US at an official port of entry (vs trying to enter elsewhere and getting arrested by ICE/avoiding arrest and inspection). out of all ppl to target they chose ppl fleeing persecution lol. neither party is that great for immigrants and the US is generally always trying to get out of fulfilling their obligations under international treaties they Chose to adopt. meanwhile the rest of the world is housing the majority of displaced/persecuted/stateless ppl without rly any recognition. iran is the number one country hosting asylum seekers in the world by Faaaaaaar (iran 3.8 mil. vs US 100k admitted in 2024) and we want to admit even less. embarrassing

The protagonist in Dog with Coffin is a dog who has spheres for a head and a body. He carries a coffin on his back nonchalantly. Standing on a circle patch of grass, he closes his eyes. He has a need to be surrounded by loneliness in order to transcend all the distractions in reality. Only in the realm of pure thoughts can one rise above the material world and the finality of death.
