a/n: i was able to finish daily dose of sunshine within a week! it was my last use of my free time before school starts. it’s my first time writing for him, so i’m sorry if things are a little ooc! i tried a new writing style for the nsfw part, i hope it’s okay! <3

when kim seowan gets into studying, it’s hard to pull him out of it! with his nose buried deep into his books, your pleas for attention will fall on deaf ears
“seowannn~” you whine, throwing your eraser at him “won’t you spare me just a glance?” he’ll chuckle and turn his eyes to meet yours, a grin displayed on his face “there, i looked at you. happy now?”
his words are harsh, but his tone is warm to the touch. you know how much effort he’s putting in to pass his exam!
he tried his best to get you to study with him! he’s setting down iced americanos in front of the both of you “alright, let’s focus now, okay?”
seowan’s fighting spirit motivates you to do your best too!! he encourages you by saying you’re in it together
he believes that teaching you is the best way of memorization! during meals, he’s rambling off history trivia and random math equations
kim seowan’s favorite way of studying is the pomodoro method! in between intervals of reading paragraphs of texts, you hear the ding of his alarm, signaling break time!
during breaks, he loves to chat about his favorite subject: you
he’s asking you how your day was, if you’ve eaten, what shows you’ve been catching up on, anything! it comes to a stop as his alarm dings again. before turning back to the books, seowan always makes sure to press a loving kiss to your cheek
pleaaase help him with his studies! when you have downtime, he’s shoving a stack of flashcards into your hands, eagerly askingbeggingyou to quiz him
“for every question i get correct, you have to kiss me!”
to his disbelief, he masters each section quickly! “ah, if i knew it could be done like this, i would’ve done it sooner” he says with a pout, puppy dog eyes staring back at you
after finally passing his exam, seowan makes sure to reward you for it! both of you celebrate by having a romantic dinner together followed by a long night of loving <3

it’s a part of gu dae-hong’s schedule to sit down at the end of the day and write a few words in his journal
definitely has a page dedicated to mood tracking! lucky for him, most of the slots are colored in yellow, representing a positive mood
dae-hong definitely convinces you to journal with him! he claims it’s a good form of unwinding and appreciating every day!
he likes to keep scraps like receipts or tickets to paste into his journal! currently, his favorite things to keep are receipts from restaurants on dates out <3
you and dae-hong are regular visitors to craft stores and daiso! after a quick drink at the cafe, you two roam around for hours picking up new sheets of stickers, paper, and decorative tape
sometimes, when you’re not looking, dae-ho will flip to a random page in your journal and write a sweet message!
“let’s have another great day together! i love you” you can’t help but to grin at the note! you’ll have to write one back later when he’s not looking
when he has a bad shift at the station, his journal is probably the first to hear about it. dae-hong hurriedly snatches his journal off of his desk, spilling his rants into it
his reasoning is that if he goes to you first about his problems, he could come off as irrational or too harshly spoken
sitting together, both of you will go through his entry and pick out the key problems and make ways to solve them!
looking for journal inspiration, your hands eagerly move to your boyfriends journal! he gave you the pass to flip through it, and you were going to use it!
nothing seems out of the ordinary until you’re met with a page in the back of the book, displaying a polaroid picture from when you two started dating, both of you smiling brightly at the camera
the page is decorated with hearts and stars, papers cut in detail to frame the photo beautifully
in dae-hong’s beautiful print, the date of your anniversary is written, followed by both of your names in the middle of a heart
looking further, you see how much of dae-hong’s journal is actually about you
he noted down your doctors appointment, a reminder to himself to take you
he noted down the date of the concert you wanted to see, referencing it later when he bought the tickets
he even noted down the date of your interview, so that he could be there to cheer you on and celebrate with you afterwards!
if it had to do with you, gu-daehong would be damned if he forgot anything important, and journaling helped him with just that!

thinking about se-mi deciding enough is enough—so she snatches the cross necklace off nam-gyu, spills the remaining pills to the ground and stomps the ever-loving shit out of them until they’re crushed into a powder.
nam-gyu would launch himself at her, blocking her frantic elbow jabs until she loses her footing and lands on her back. he’d be hysterical, blinded by a burning demented rage as he crawls on top of her. even though se-mi pumps her legs and shoves at his chest, he’d have her pinned down too easily. caught, like a firefly in a glass jar.
“you psycho bitch! what the fuck is wrong with you?! do you have any idea how much you’ve just fucked me?!” his trembling hands would be holding her tightly by the shoulders as he shakes her wildly again, and again, and again. “i should rip those stupid piercings out of your stupid fucking face!”
“jesus. why so emotional, nam-gyu?” she’d laugh, actually laugh at him, as her nails dig into his wrists. it would make his eye twitch that she got his name right. there’d be something fearless reflecting in her doe eyes, but there’d also be a flicker of terror underneath her bravery because he’s so much stronger than her. this dude would kill me in an instant without even blinking. “aww, i see. you really needed those pills, huh? oops.”
nam-gyu’s silver chain slips out from underneath his shirt, it dangles with his dark hair in the space between them. “oh, fuck you!”
“you’re gonna start going through withdrawals soon if you don’t get some more.”
“no shit, cunt!”
she’d lift her head, her nose almost touching his in the proximity. she’d feel a little stupid for getting even closer to him when all of her instincts are screaming at her to get away, considering that his thumbs are dangerously close to pushing down on the column of her throat. her voice is surprisingly firm and steady when she says, “i guess you better vote to leave, then, asshole.”

clean! it’s the only word that you can use to describe his apartment! the scent of laundry and lavender fill the air, not a single spec of dust is found
daehong’s weekly routine has a mandatory sunday reset scheduled! between long shifts at the station, he needs a day to clean up. always needs his place to be ready for when you come over <3
he hates wearing dark colored clothing. claims that wearing brightly colored sweaters keeps him sane during his job!
speaking of sunday resets, he’s often asking you to meet him at a cafe for a cozy date! there, he’s spilling about his job and even asking you for your own input about a case!
sweet boy is a crier. after an especially dark case, he’s coming you with puffy eyes, a quivering lip, and he’s all but sniffles. if you see him like this, all he needs is a long cuddle session to get back on his feet
gu daehong is a gentleman! if he sees you shivering or even stuffing your hands in your pocket for warmth, he’s quick to shrug off his coat and drape it around your shoulders!
adding on to the gentleman point, you never open a door ever. if you try to do it yourself, daehong blocks your way, standing in front of you! doesnt move until you let him have his way
daehong is ticklish!! when hugging him, your fingers brushed against the back of his neck, causing him to jolt upwards with a giggle “t-that’s new” he’s blushing
