I don't believe in shame but you will probably wish I did. my fave band is the national. I make a lot of fanmixes. my current [relevant] fixations are: severance, interview with the vampire and the magnus protocol. I am currently watching the x-files and star trek tng for the first time. I also deeply love breaking bad, better call saul, good omens, and succession. big into video games especially dishonored, the last of us, hades, horizon zero dawn, dragon age, and mass effect. past fixations include: inception, queer as folk, the magnus archives, star trek ds9, hate crimes md, and his dark materials. Well maybe a lawyer from Universal Studios can arrest me under little-used IP legislation which technically makes fanfiction illegal. Really in my "for $8000 dollars a month, I will stop" era but here I am once again with crazy wish fulfilment straight fanfiction.

Inspired by the brief appearance of Daniel Brühl; I can't tell you how obsessed I am with the random retcon of never-mentioned-before gay cellist brother who was just off chilling in Paris the whole time [including a first movie set almost entirely in Paris!] + I have a lot of little headcanons about Marie as a sister/family member, so I wrote 22k~ words about that. It's definitely not gen, but it is very much about Marie and her somewhat more mundane psychological problems than CIA assassin trauma.

A not-Christmas fic, opening with the canon events of December 2001 and carrying on through successive Decembers to an alternate family future. :) As always, I deeply thank my friends for continuing to put up with me being insane at them at all hours about this.
