it has been genuinely devastating to see major governments, global news outlets and ignorant celebrities spreading a narrative that supports and upholds a regime responsible for the genocide of thousands of innocent lives. palestinians have been suffering for decades and nobody has cared; nobody has offered them the empathy that is now being so generously handed to a military force that is brutally murdering and displacing the palestinian people. 2.2 million people in gaza have had their electricity, food, water and fuel cut off. we are witnessing firsthand the utter annihilation of a population — dehumanising media coverage, blatant islamophobic propaganda, hundreds of children massacred — please understand that taking a "neutral" stance is siding with the oppressor. free palestine today, tomorrow, forever. from the river to the sea 🇵🇸

gOD like can you imagine how big of a heart nicky hemmick has. just to—to drop the life he’s made for himself, the home he’s found, the happiness he had to fight to believe he deserved—to put all that on hold and go back for two kids that barely know how to process or communicate their feelings, two kids so wrapped up in misery because of the shit hand they were all dealt, two kids that hit too close to the chest for nicky, two kids that remind nicky too much of the washed out kid he clawed his way out of being, two kids that probably don’t even realize and can’t help it but are so detrimental to nicky’s mental health for all the progress he’s made on his own before.

like. can you imagine how big of a heart nicky hemmick has to try so hard when no one asked—and he wouldn’t change a thing even though he’s convinced he did a shit job of providing for them, but goddammit nicky you probably saved their lives. you did good, nicky. you did.
