Charlie wasn’t really listening to her dad or the angel messenger sent to give them a tour of this building called an embassy. Charlie heard that this angel was named Gabriel and he was her dad’s brother. She saw that they both had white skin and red circles on their cheeks which Charlie inherited from Lucifer. But Gabriel had green eyes while Lucifer were a Hellish red and yellow. They both wore suits, but Lucifer’s was a white, red, and gold suit like a ringmaster. Gabriel’s was a white, green, and gold, but more like one of those old timey singers from the 1920s. Gabriel’s hair was also dark brown while Lucifer’s was golden blonde like her hair.
Gabriel: Fatherhood really suits you.
Lucifer: Yeah, Char Char is everything to me. I’m sorry Lilith couldn’t be here, she was busy.
Gabriel: Having another one of those concerts to rile up Sinners. You know he misses you very much and you had a chance at something great and you still would have had Charlie.
Charlie wasn’t really listening, like most little kids her age, she wanted to explore. This new building was unlike anything she had seen before in Hell. She walked around seeing images of angels in the windows. She got interested when she saw some sort of special door. She ran over and opened it and on the other side was a pretty place filled with sunshine. She walked through the door looking around, her feet now on fluffy clouds. She then saw golden gates and an angel standing at a podium.
Peter: Hello, what is your name?
Charlie: Charlie Morningstar.
Peter looked through the book and her name was on there, but not as a new Winner, but as a guest. It was because Charlie was a child and children were seen as innocent, so they could go to Heaven.
Peter: Welcome to Heaven, I hope you enjoy your visit.
The gates opened and Charlie walked through, all the people were so friendly. She also saw all types of angels, like the archangels that looked like her dad, there were seraphim who were colored with soft greys, blues, and whites. But her attention was pulled to the angel with the big gold wings at his sides. He wore some kind of helmet along with white, lavender, and gold robes. Gold spikes were on the robes as well, in his hand was a drink with a straw. She ran over curious.
Charlie: Hello, what is your name, mine is Charlie.
The angel lifted up the mask on the helmet and saw under the mask he looked like a human with gold eyes and strands of hair the color of milk chocolate peeking from his helmet.
Adam: Hey, I’m Adam. You look a lot like Lucifer Morningstar.
Adam was conflicted, it hurt seeing his first love has a child with Lilith. But at the same time she looked so much like Lilith that he couldn’t be angry at her.
Adam: Do you like fluffy animals?
Adam: Cool, there is a zoo close by with fluffy and cuddly animals you can play with. You want to see a platypus, I helped your dad make it.
This told Charlie that the angel knew her dad, so she was safe with him.
Adam pulled off the helmet showing he had short fluffy brown hair in a slightly messy style that suited him. He picked up Charlie and put her on his shoulder as he started walking to the zoo.
