I can’t fucking wait until Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy can get away from this toxic af fandom. Before half of y’all, Olivia was actually fucking posting on instagram! Now she gets on there to post every three fucking months because those toxic fans have bullied and berated her. She plays a character that some people hate, get the fuck over it. Hate the character, not the actress. Fucking need help if you can’t tell reality from fucking fiction, fucking asshole.

Not to mention the hate Emma gets for being non-binary, like come on…

I don’t like each character for a reason, both are hypocritical pieces of shit. Does that mean I pin it on Olivia and Emma? No, because I’m an adult who has a brain and can differentiate between fiction and reality.

They defend their characters? Whoopie, whatever. It’s their characters they’ve poured their hearts and souls into, it’s not the end of the fucking world. I hate more than half of y’all, the other portion who has a brain…well…I very much love the portion who has a brain.

I think my biggest problem with Teen Shauna this season was that I was missing the moments that kept her grounded and human. I'm not saying 'oh she shouldn't have done all those things or reacted in that way', but Shauna feels like an uneding spiral with her. It kind of triggered my own fight or flight the longer I sat with it because there was no reprieve to Shauna's spiral that reminded me she was just a person. She just felt like a thread about to snap the entire time.

I'm not saying I don't love her. She makes a fun villain, and it truly was a descent to madness but her villainy does make me mourn Shauna from season 1 and 2.

Also, to the people who now hate Shauna, that's valid, I understand, but if you hate Sophie Nelisse because of it, and I have seen posts about that, fuck you fuck you fuck you, you are part of what's wrong with being in a fandom now.

Going by the theory that half the Antler Queen, the "metaphorical" half is in fact Jackie, it's so fucking funny that after Lottie died and met Jackie!Antler Queen and be like "shit i called her useless. shit i said she didnt matter anymore. shiiiit dont be mad queen" I'm referencing this btw (when the interviewer asked "so its safe to say we know who pit girl and the antler queen is")

If Shauna has any half in this world, it's Jackie

I am honestly so exhausted by the fandom discourse about this season right now so here’s my mini rant:

•Disagreeing with the writing/story decisions this season does not make it okay to threaten, harass, or personally insult the writers, showrunners, or actors.

•If someone doesn’t like the season or has criticisms/critiques of the show, it doesn’t mean they “don’t understand” it, nor is it a reflection of their intelligence. People are going to interpret things differently, and there’s no such thing as a “correct” or “incorrect” opinion when it comes to art. I’m honestly so tired of seeing comments like, “Ugh, if someone doesn’t like (insert S3 plotline), they just don’t get the show and shouldn’t be watching it” or “if you don’t like the writing this season you clearly don’t know what good writing is.” Let people have their own perspectives.

•The same goes for people who love S3 and think it’s the best season yet. These people are not “dickriding” the writers, they’re not ignorant or misunderstanding the “true themes of the show.” Once again, people have different opinions, people like/dislike different things. No one’s personal understanding of the show’s content and direction is incorrect.

That is all, thank you.

It's funny to imagine that Lottie has been seeing the Antler Queen and thought "ok...now how do I make that fit"

Like did she ask for help from the others to assemble the outfit and if something went wrong would go "guys youre not seeing the vision"

Tbh s3 felt like the season of inciting incidents. I dont know how else to explain it but it was jam packed with so much action it didnt give much time for the fallout. Like this is the peak of a roller coaster and seasons 4 and 5 would feel like the fall, if that makes sense

Im not saying season 3 is peak because its the greatest, thats up to the viewer, but peak in the story itself. 1 and 2 built up to the chaos of season 3. 4 and 5 might feel more like the crescendo (tho i dont doubt season 4 could be just as jam packed)

guys guys what if in the hypothetical season 5 (which was said to be their ideal place to end the series), that's when it starts snowing for real in the adult timeline (we had like a glimpse of it in s2 but it's not a full on blizzard or anything yet. it's still early november).

spoilers beyond the line

For everything supernatural that happens in Yellowjackets, I always think of a realistic reason if the show itself didn't provide it. Likewise even if the realistic reason was given, I leave myself open to the possibility of it being supernatural. Cus the show works in considering both possibilities and it would be a disservice to ignore one for the other. That said--

Spoilers ahead for YJ S03E10
