Finally we will discover who tried to hurt Entrapta.
Entrapta was working on something in the lab, she was testing a new armor for Hordak, to make it more resistant to blades, because since he was injured by Skeletor, she didn't stop looking for resistant materials.
So she started working on a new metal alloy, it was out of the ordinary... she often tested blades on the same material, which happened to work, but the alloy is very thick and heavy.
Entrapta wants to make this metal alloy thinner and stronger and often asked Hordak for help, as he knows how to create swords with energy.
And he tested the armor while she took notes and saw where it should improve.
But that day Hordak was not present, for there were matters that had to be resolved with his presence in the throne room.
Entrapta needed silence to be able to work calmly and without interruptions.
Her robot Emily was the one who assisted her in whatever she needed.
Hordak was with the advisors when...
The explosion was heard throughout the fortress and Hordak became restless thinking, " What happened this time, in the lab?" And he gets up." One of the troopers only informs him, "Milord there has been a serious explosion in Milady Entrapta's laboratory." And he runs to the laboratory.
When he reaches the lab doors , he notices that the doors are twisted due to the explosion, and enters by pushing away the rubble," Entrapta... Entrapta, where are you?" And he continues to drive away the rubble... first he sees Emily who was almost in pieces, and a little further on he sees a hand that came out from under the work table... but there was rubble...
He begins to pull out pieces of twisted metal, "Please... I just hope you're okay." He thinks to himself, while removing more debris until he reaches the unconscious form of Entrapta, "Oh no..." She is unconscious, and Hordak saw that the girl was breathing, sighing in relief, "By the Horde... She's alive!" The poor girl had serious injuries, had a wound in the head, and in the lower limbs.
He managed to get her out of the rubble very carefully, lest he cause some injury to her spine.
He tried to wipe the blood that ran down her face, and on the chest... but he didn't know what to do in that situation... Her clothes were in tatters, torn in places, so he grabbed the cloak and wrapped it, so no one would see parts of her body that were exposed.
He carefully lifts her up and runs with her in his arms to the medical ward, shouting, “Help Entrapta, she is seriously injured." All the medical personnel went to Hordak, gently removing her from his arms.
He did not want to let her go, but the Doctor only tells him, "She will be all right, Your Excellency." Reluctantly he had to let her go.
They had to kick him out of the room, "Out, we need to take care of you, without you always being on top of us... we need privacy." He has to obey, threatening, "I will abide…for the moment, but if she dies, you will follow suit!" The Doctor faces him, "My Lord, don't threaten us, right?" So shove your empty threats where the sun doesn't shine.
Let us work!" He leaves the emergency room, but stands at the door, waiting.
Hordak cried... The love of his life lies there, senseless and he couldn't avoid her to be hurt like that.
Then he stays, with a blank stare... thinking of revenge...
Sometime later he feels a hand, "My Lord." He looks up to see a nurse, "Now you can see her." He stands up, following the nurse.
When he enters, sees Entrapta lying in bed, has a new gown, and a catheter in the arm, "She is very resilient, my Lord.
What happened?" Hordak mutters one word, "Explosion in the Lab." The doctors are shocked, hearing him, "I'm going to investigate this, he's very careful, in his lab, someone put an explosive, of that I'm sure." The Doctor only advises, "In due time, my Lord, the best thing to do is to calm down, for Entrapta’s sake." A nod.
"Now I'm going to leave you alone with her." The Doctor left him with Entrapta.
Hordak grabbed her little hand with his hand that is bigger than hers, "Please my love, wake up, I need you!" He lays his head on her flat stomach, never letting it go, staying that way for some time.
Then he hears her, "H... Hordak?" He raises his head, "Entrapta..." A tear rolls down her cheek, but Hordak wipes it away with his big fingernail, "Shhh... I am now here my love." He intertwined his fingers in hers, "Rest." And he gives him a chaste kiss on the forehead, "Rest... I'm here to protect you." She closes her eyes, falling asleep, while Hordak lays the head on her flat stomach.
Two hours passed, and Hordak had to leave Entrapta alone, for she needs much rest, but he called a trooper, ordering him to stand at the door of Entrapta's room, for he feared for her life.
Five days pass and he begins to investigate... and it does so exhaustively...
First he returns to the laboratory, to look for signs of explosives, and after an exhaustive search he manages to find traces that something was placed there, and collects it as evidence.
But who wants to hurt Entrapta badly?" She even gets along with everyone there, even with Adora! The imperfect Hordak is like a son to her and knows that he helps her a lot, it is impossible for someone to hurt her, because she has always been friends with everyone.
So he tries to get access to the cameras that are near the lab... as well as inside...
And he goes to the monitoring room where there is a trooper in front of the screen, and when he sees his master, "Your Excellency, I am aware of what is going on, I heard that Entrapta is in the medical ward." Hordak crosses his arms and the other calculates, "You want to see the images right?" And he begins to pass the said images, and in one of the frames he sees the author... a servant putting an explosive inside the lab, Hordak wants to get a better look, "Zoom in on this image." The security guard does as he was ordered, and can actually see the servant's face, the other just says. "She's been here for two weeks, according to the records, but...." The tyrant only remarks, "My servants and men would never do something like that, I never mistreated them, although I was harsh on everyone here.
They have total freedom, they are not slaves and are paid." The security guard looks at his master, pondering, "It has been two weeks since a body was found with a mutilated face.
An image was even taken to see if he could recognize the face." Hordak becomes thoughtful, "Yes I remember, I heard it had been one of the servants." And he looks at her face again, "It's too much of a coincidence that there was a murder and then this servant appeared...out of nowhere.
I know all my servants." Then he asks, "I want this on my datapad, and I'll go to the lab to see if I can find more evidence of the explosive that was placed." The security guard immediately calculates, "You don't want to make waves from what I'm seeing." A nod and then an order is given, "Go on with your work, and let me know the whereabouts of this... servant." The security guard puts his hand on his chest, "Yes Excellency." Hordak leaves the place returning to Entrapta's laboratory, wants to investigate further.
A trooper is with him to help with the rubble.
And at the end of an hour, he manages to find more remnants of the explosive, and quite a lot.
Then he goes to his own laboratory to try to rebuild the bomb which takes hours, sometimes he gets frustrated because it is difficult to do so, but he succeeds, " I finally got you." He thinks to himself.
Because he wants to find a signature of the bomber.
But he never neglects Entrapta, goes to see her at mealtime, but when he enters notices that she is sedated due to the pain, and when he leaves, gives her a chaste kiss on the forehead.
Another week has passed...
Hordak is tired, but has to find out what led someone to do that to his Entrapta, he wants to know the reasons for it.
So, grab the remains of the bomb and the datapad, and go visit Entrapta.
He doesn't want to risk the evidence being stolen, that's why he always carries them with him.
The walk to the medical ward is done quickly, and slowly he enters the room, seeing the woman he loves sleeping peacefully and is no longer medicated for pain.
And a nurse appears, "She ate it some time ago Milord, now she's resting." Hordak sits in the chair next to the bed, and the nurse notices that he is exhausted, "Why don't you rest Milord?" He closes his eyes taking a deep breath, "I need to investigate who did this to you, and why this servant tried to take Entrapta's life." The nurse is thoughtful, and remembers, "It's been two weeks since Hilaria acts strange, she even showed up all scratched here in the medical ward." He grabs the datapad, showing the servant's face, "This one?" The nurse looks good seeing the marks on her face, "Yes, it is... but I know Hilaria, and this is not her." And something clicks in the nurse's head, "Let's go to the morgue, Milord." He is interrogated, "What do you mean?!" The nurse replies, "We have pictures of everyone who works here, and I want to compare those faces.
The real Hilaria never appeared here again... It's been two weeks.” Hordak is shocked, and they leave, but he never leaves the evidences behind.
The two enter the morgue, have access to the archives, and Hordak compares the faces. "You're really right." And the artificial intelligence had reconstructed the face of the dead servant, and corresponds to the corpse that lies in the morgue, the nurse is devastated, "I can't believe they did this to a soul as kind as Hilaria." Hordak sees the frozen body and puts the frame to the side, "Yes... Artificial intelligence has done a good job.
But we have to do genetic analysis to confirm, we need the culprit. "The other knows what he's talking about.
"She came here for treatment, and was almost finished." Hordak when heard that asks, "Do you have any samples?" The nurse answers, " All samples are taken in life, and are available for any eventuality. " Hordak orders, "Take a sample of this corpse and compare it with the samples collected in life." The nurse replies, "I'll have to talk to the coroner and analysts." He crosses his arms, "Do it, you have a day." And he gets out of there.
He returns to Entrapta, staying with her... Hordak lays his head on the flat stomach falling asleep… he is so exhausted.
Meanwhile Entrapta awakens to see Hordak sleeping with his head in his stomach, and smiles, thinking, " You must be exhausted... I was told that you are investigating this explosion." And she caresses his head and blue hair, " Sleep my love." And falls asleep with her hands on top of Hordak.
Hordak had never slept so well, and when wakes up, gives a kiss on the lips of Entrapta who is still sleeping, and leaves slowly going to his throne room, always watching the images.
"Milord... We already have everything together." He looks at the nurse, who hands him a datapad, "It's confirmed... the corpse is that of Hilaria and according to the autopsy she suffered a strong blow to the head with a stone, as we removed remnants.
And it cut her face with a dagger." Hordak concludes, "It wanted to take Hilaria's place so it could get to Entrapta." The nurse snaps her fingers, "Exactly, now we have to find out why." Hordak is pleased with her, "How is it that a mere nurse knows how to investigate so well?" She explains, "I've always been well-working and I've worked alongside your men investigating some crimes, and my boss knows that I'm very intuitive and singles me out for those investigations because there has to be a medical opinion." Hordak smiles, "I'm glad you're helping with this." She replies, " I can't stand people who do harm to others, and as far as I know Entrapta has never harmed anyone, but if she did there would be laws to punish her.
But from what I know of Entrapta I know that she works hard." Hordak is pleased with what he hears.
"Come with me, so we can look better." He asks Hordak, and the nurse follows him to the throne room, and there they discuss the next step to take, and some trusted men such as Leech, Mantenna and Grizzlor hear the plan, as they all want to capture whoever did it to Entrapta.
Someone has infiltrated Entrapta's room, and has evil intentions towards her, and slowly advances towards her saying, "For years you have been a thorn that tormented me... Today this will end." And slowly it grabs a pillow to asphyxiate her, "You've always been an obstacle in my life, and you have to disappear for good." Entrapta slept without realizing the danger she was in.
The security guard in the monitoring room notices an unknown woman in Entrapta's room, and immediately alerts Hordak, " No turning on the alarms, assign men to the door of Entrapta's room and under the window, as she can escape outside, I'm on my way. " And the order was carried out, and Hordak leaves accompanied by the three mercenaries.
He arrives in a matter of minutes, and slowly opens the door, and the stranger is trying to asphyxiate Entrapta, but Grizzlor jumps up and grabs the intruder, and takes the pillow from her hands.
The doctors rush to examine Entrapta who is half shaken by all that.
And recognised the intruder, "Why, Irina, what led you to this?" Hordak looks at the intruder. "Who are you, and why did you put an explosive in Entrapta's laboratory?" The other replies, "We have been studying together for many years, and..." Entrapta cuts her off from the sentence, "Were you jealous that I had better results than you!?" The other replies, "Arrogant as always, the teachers always liked you more, you had more opportunities for being a Princess." Entrapta is shocked saying, " My title has never been used to advantage, I've always liked science, and I've always worked hard.
You preferred parties and partying... have you never tried for anything, and blame me for your misfortune?" The rival is furious but Hordak looks at her, "So you killed a servant, and infiltrated my fortress here to kill my mate?
Because of something you got into your head?" And he looks at everyone around, "She never thought she was better than anyone else, Entrapta always helped those who need it most, namely me." Irina lets out a laugh, "You're awesome... She licks your balls and puts herself under you, to succeed in life." ...
Everyone had heard a slap, Irina had a red face with Entrapta's handprint, visibly furious, " HOW DARE YOU?! LEAVE HORDAK OUT OF THIS... YOU NEVER WANTED TO STRIVE FOR ANYTHING!!" Irina is shocked by Entrapta's fit of rage who has never been angry like that and swallows hard and hears the scientist, "I was ashamed to think that way.
I never take advantage of anyone, nor do I use sex to achieve what I want.
Everything I achieved was on my own merit, love came later... and Hordak is wonderful." And looks at her from top to bottom, "Look at you... that uses the wrong ways to achieve goals.
You killed an excellent servant who was good to everyone, and tried to kill me twice, the last attempt was in a vile and cowardly manner... for I was helpless." Hordak is stunned, his Entrapta is furious.
He puts his hand on his partner's shoulder, "Take it easy my love, now let's take care of her, and since Leech is very hungry, he can..." Irina swallows, "You can't do it, Entrapta you're too soft." Entrapta's eyes flare, "There's something you don't know, I've changed over the years and learned a lot besides science." And looks at Leech, "She's all yours, Leech, feed to your heart's content." The lizard was about to move forward and Irina just asks, "Reconsider Entrapta, we can talk." She crosses her arms, "Really? I don't believe so... because you would kill more people to get to me and try to kill me again." Leech stands in front of Irina saying, "Entrapta has never harmed anyone unlike you, worm." And opens his mouth and Irina pleads, " Entrapta please!" The scientist's gaze is determined and says to anyone who wants to listen, "I'm not cruel or anything, but the circumstances force me to do what I'm going to do right now, as much as I hate it.
Let this serve as an example to those who have killed or want to try to kill others." And she looks at Leech, "Feed on her." Leech opens his hands setting them on top of Irina, and opens his mouth saying, "Since you've never had anyone kiss you, I'll be happy to give you the kiss of your life." And kisses her on the mouth... Placing his deadly tongue inside the intruder's mouth, she struggles without avail...feeling her life fade away…
Leech's kiss is deadly and in a matter of minutes Irina is no more, she is simply a lifeless black body that lies on the floor of that room.
Entrapta sheds a tear, Hordak hugs her, "It had to be, my love, I know you didn't want to." Leech only says putting a hand on her shoulder, "Entrapta... It was you or her, and I saw that it wasn't easy for you.
You are a gentle soul, who does not deserve what happened to you." And he caresses her face, wiping away Entrapta’s tears, "No one will judge you." And he smiles, "I was really hungry." And Entrapta smiles, "It was an original way to feed off a frustrated woman." He sees that her mood has returned, "That way I like it better." He observes, then leaves to go to his duties together with the rest of Hordak's men.
On the other hand, Hordak is astonished, and hears the nurse, "Entrapta I never thought you were so... cruel." And she puts a hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, it was a necessary evil, although I would prefer that she be spared to suffer the consequences." Entrapta sighs, "She would try to run away and do it all over again." The nurse understands, " Yes, you're right. " She is aware that such an act marks a person, but it does not make him a cruel person, and Entrapta is not a person of intimate evil, she did what she did because she was forced to.
Then a revelation is made, "I have not been sincere with you." Says, Hordak and Entrapta look at each other, "What do you mean?" The other smiles, "When Entrapta was born I was a teenager, and I have always accompanied her throughout her life, and I swore that I would protect her.
And I studied and trained a lot to be her bodyguard.
I was always behind the scenes protecting Entrapta... I always accompanied her, learning various trades, including that of a nurse... but I saw that she is a strong and kind woman." Entrapta smiles, holding his hands, "Thank you for being here." Hordak is surprised but says, " You were too intuitive to be a simple nurse. " Then he crosses his arms, "Keep up your work, protect Entrapta." She nods, "Of course and by the way... my name is Valeria." And smiles, "And I'll leave you at ease." And gets out of there.
Hordak and Entrapta are alone, "What a twist... a nurse who was protecting you incognito after all." And he approaches Entrapta, "I know you're fine..." But he doesn't finish the sentence and kisses her ardently, putting his hand under the scientist's shirt, touching her breast, saying, "When you feel better... We'll go to the countryside for a picnic, and then we'll do something else." She smiles while kissing him, "Yes my beloved." And puts her hand under Hordak's shirt, feeling his muscular chest.
The two are there... having a moment of their own, and no one dares to interrupt, not even the doctors.
