By the way, how did Varlen lost his arm?
I never played Dragon Age, so sorry if the answer is obvious!
If you don't mind spoilers for Dragon Age Inquisition:
The Inquisitor(your protagonist, or Arlen here) gets something called an "anchor" or "mark" on their left hand which allows them to seal tears in the fade (fade is another realm with spirits and demons). Eventually that mark starts killing them. A companion (or ex-companion) helped with the stop of the spread but too much damage was done to the arm leading to its removal.

Aaaaaaa thank you so much! I'm happy you like my Pavellan ehe. Excuse my writing, I am an artist and not much of a writer LMFAOOO. Also am unsure of wedding procedures in Thedas/Tevinter.
Two years after the Inquisition disbanded Arlen got tired of the back and forth and just using the message crystal so he just moved in one day, unannounced.
Just months later, Dorian was planning to propose and was just waiting on rings to be crafted but Arlen ended up being the one to propose cause he's one impatient bastard. The dumb elf had nothing to propose with but just the one to ask. They roughhoused in bed one evening and Arlen rolled off the side and just dropped the question there.
Unfortunately, their wedding wasn't anything extravagant as the pair kept everything on the down-low from the public and even other members of the Lucerni to avoid any word getting out. (Though, they think they're good at hiding their relationship among the Lucerni but they really aren't) The gossip among magisters, rising Venatori influence and Arlen's controversial work as an assassin for the Lucerni wasn't worth the risk. The only person that Dorian formally told was Maevaris Tilani.
Dorian still put together a little something for the pair. They went to Ventus (the Pavus family having some estate there). Dorian had some extravagant yet comfortable Tevinter styled robes tailored for them. A nice dinner, some formal dancing, dessert and wine on the bedroom balcony as they watched the sunset, wrapped up with a night of passion. Just time for the two of them away from the chaos of Minrathous and its politics.
Arlen keeps his ring on a necklace, it being easier to put on and take off (having only one arm, afterall) and hide under his shirt, for when he does his work for the Lucerni. Dorian does the same for a while but will wear his on his finger when home.
They kept it private till maybe a year or two before the events of Veilguard, though still just speculation from the general public. After the events of Veilguard they threw caution to the wind and were would appear in public together.
Hi, is there anywhere I can buy prints of your Arlen and Dorian? I absolutely love them. Whenever I'm playing Veilguard, I always use Arlen as the inquisitor. :)
