I think of this every time someone says Andrew is the normal one. I think we're forgetting how often Andrew tries to solve his problems with murder. And Neil likes that about him. They're perfect for each other because they would both terrify anyone else. Matching each other's freak is the foundation of their relationship
So we all agree Violet is gonna have to die in book 3 right?
Like the phrase ‘The death of a lion bestows the power of a lion’ doesn’t refer to killing another lion but literally the act of dying a lions death. Which would mean brave courageous and protecting those who are not as strong as you. Given we’ve seen Violet stand up at least twice now in incredibly outnumbered positions to put herself in the way of danger for her friends I’d say third time may be the charm. But given that reincarnation is no big deal in this story I suspect she’ll be immediately revived and as a true lion!
Also like given the characteristics of lions (strong, brave, leaders, courageous) it never made sense that to be a true lion you’d have to kill another lion, esp after tricking them like the way Violets father did to her mother.
Either that or like Tom has to die protecting her? (I’m choosing to believe he’s good) but that seems less dramatic also I want them to be a happy family
