BIO POST

hi! i mostly go by kae or verp

they/them, if you want to know anything else about me i'm going to force you to stalk my blogs, i got blocked for just not having my age visible and now i refuse to post any personal information where you can find it in under 20 seconds out of spite

this is my Everything Blog- it all goes here, mostly untagged, no queue we die like men

i try not to post politics much, but i might reblog the occasional post. i try to remember to tag it as #us politics, as well as the people being discussed. i absolutely never reblog anything that tries to guilt you into reblogging it.

sideblogs:

@verpineshatterrifle my star wars blog, very repcomm/mandalorian/legends focused, i'm actually more social there than here

@ent-moot my lotr blog, mostly just reblogs

@verpine-art my art blog, mostly star wars (drawings and also fic)

@akalenedat you see i have this wild dream of a blog entirely in mando'a but it's probably not going to go anywhere

stuff i like and fun facts:

  • star wars and lotr (but that mainly goes on the sideblogs)
  • cs lewis (basically all, not just narnia)
  • murderbot chronicles
  • legend of zelda: twilight princess
  • the squires tales series by gerald morris
  • i play d&d! playing a paladin in my current campaign!
  • fields of mistria
  • discworld (i only have Jingo left to read)
  • yarncraft (i can both crochet and knit)
  • cosplay (have only ever finished mandalorians though)
  • i own a 3d printer
  • knives out, glass onion, and probably the next one too
  • hamilton. undertale. the source materials not the fandom
  • ares, just like, conceptually
  • halo kilo-5 trilogy (talk to me abt staffan)

people love to complain about sex scenes in tv shows and violence in movies when the real danger is scenes that make you feel second hand embarrassment.

waters so amazing because you can drink it really sloppy style and like spill it all over yourself and it doesnt even leave a stain. you dont even have to wash it out/ . because its already washed

yet another massive w for water, the greatest fluid in the universe

i love this because it's like. why did paleolithic peoples paint the hunt. perhaps to celebrate and honour brave deeds that kept the community alive. perhaps to bring luck for future hunts. perhaps to instruct those who came after how to slay the beast. perhaps to remind us we can: that the mammoth is not unkillable.

this graffiti, too, serves those purposes!

Been a really long time since I've watched Daredevil but I do remember coming away from it feeling like it presented a pretty compelling internally-consistent moral justification for the vigilante thing. You're not planet-crackingly powerful, it's just that you can hear, in detail, every awful thing your neighbors are doing to each other, every night that they're doing it. You can't not know and you can't pretend not to know and when the kid tells you the next day that he just fell down the stairs you can't fall back on the provided ambiguity to absolve yourself of your responsibility to act. Semi-relatedly, you're really really good at martial arts. Start the clock

You shouldn’t date or become serious friends/partners with someone if you can’t stomach the thought of being stuck in a car or train with them for 16 hours.

Here’s my logic:

  • You should be able to work together to solve unexpected problems like fixing a flat tire or getting lost in an unfamiliar station
  • You should feel comfortable and safe enough around this person that you can sit in comfortable silence
  • You should be able to keep each other interested and deal with each others boredom in a healthy way
  • If you’re gonna form a long term partnership with someone you should probably be able to tolerate each other while locked in a small box for a few hours

These tags are hilarious even though I don’t think you intended them to be.

*pulls European closer* The most populous countries in the world are China, India, the United States, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Brazil in that order, with these seven nations alone making up 48.16% of the world population. You may note with the aid of a map that many of these nations are quite large, and would take several days of travel to go across either in cars or on boats. Almost half of the world's population lives in places where you can travel in a cramped vehicle for days and still be within the country. Your worldview is limited and Europe is a tiny outlier in travel time and standards for international relations.

some of you need to realize that your faves would be having unsafe bdsm sex because they don’t actually know what bdsm sex is, they just want to fuck and also kill each other. you must understand this.

you don’t have to write safe practices and contracts agreements. your audience knows not to apply any of this in their real lives, sasuke doesn’t know what a safe word is im begging you please write the toxic yaoi

my friend liz downloaded some free audio software a few months ago to do something and now every time she joins a call a female voice says “trial. trial.” and liz doesn’t remember the name of the software or know how to stop it and she doesn’t want to

my friend liz had her spotify account hacked and literally didn’t realize for a year until I was talking about my decade in review playlist and she looked at hers and it was all brazilian music and she was like oh this explains why I would go to sleep listening to classical music and wake up and it’s playing trap. and also why there are like 30 playlists on my account that I didn’t make. she just thought spotify was like that

hand to god at some point my friend liz managed to fuck up her install of Portal so bad that it was displaying minecraft textures

like she’s bringing me dead mice
