bring the old mod back they were funnier
boo hoo are you gonna cry
alright so
These three songs (Floating On Your Memories "Musical Miracle", Walls "Tally Hall", and Connect "Lemon Demon") are likely all the same person.
Within the past few months, these three artists have had new singles posted to their Spotify, YouTube, etc., etc. What they (probably) are is either a. a marketing stunt some upcoming musician is pulling to gain traction, or b. stolen music and artwork to get listeners like you to give them money thinking it's a new single by your favorite inactive artist. Or, less likely, c. three extreme coincidences by artists with the same names as three distinct bands.
That being said, for Floating On Your Memories and Connect, two different music distribution sites have been used. At the bottom of Floating, the copyright says (via noracore.com). On the auto generated YouTube page, it says provided by sonosuite.com.
I have looked into reporting the songs as an error, but I am not Neil and I cannot threaten a lawsuit, so I cannot report them.
Additionally, something I'd like to mention is the artwork for Walls was found to be stolen, and originally was a piece by Joseph Biwald from 2018, called 'The Monoliths of Casper.'
Probably don't listen to these songs. I'm not your parent, so you don't have to listen to me though. Just be cautious you might be apart of some money scam. :-)
Apparently there's a new one (brought to my attention by @roxzooks), which means they're still doing it.
Although, I'd like to dispel a misconception- just because this individual keeps uploading music under Lemon Demon's name, as well as others, does not mean the artist's account has been hacked. It just means that through whatever music distribution site they've used they can upload music to pre-existing artist accounts.
All this is, is leeching off popular artists and being annoying. Continue to support the original artists and stay away from these parasitic songs. Thank you!
its happening again with ghost and pals fyi
pretty sure this is another one
