We have been very busy with real life stuff but we'd love to work on more WF theories and headcanons especially for 1) Kaya + Lotus system in the relay and 2) speculation for the upcoming update they're gonna reveal at tennocon.

If anyone wants to hear them or has questions for us to answer, do send us asks. Ask box questions tend to be the best way for us to give structure to our thoughts.

Of course, we will take time to write them down, but we have so many thoughts all the time, girls. Answering questions are a good way for us to cope with idea overload. It lightens the load on our brain by giving us direction.

We are so happy that you agree.

With just one (1!) Little Lotus in their life, our beloved Space Mom system will receive:

  • The catharsis of being the child she was not allowed to be
  • The joys of motherhood and taking care of a small child
  • Inner peace and tranquility that comes with working together to care for their special little baby
  • A renewed sense of purpose after accepting that their Tenno are not as reliant on them any more
  • Mutual understanding between every headmate that this is what they all dreamed about once

And probably more that I cannot think of right now... but the point is: having a little in their system is SO HEALING FOR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Show Lotus Affection" prompts depending on the skin she's wearing:

Lotus: Surprised by the Tenno's approach, she stands still for a moment as they embrace her, but finally hugs them back with a grateful smile. This form represents the uncertainty that once coloured the Lotus and the Tenno's bond.

Lotus Radiant: Ready and already awaiting the Tenno. They crash into her open arms. A tight hug, driven by emotion. After The New War, they know each other better. They don't want to lose each other again.

Natah: A slow, almost begrudging hug with her Sentient arms. She isn't used to Human displays of affection, but she'll accept them from her adopted child. When the Tenno let go of her, her Sentient head bows in gratitude. You hear the low hum of Sentient song.

Margulis: A warm embrace, a motherly caress of the Tenno's hair. She dusts them down and gazes at them with a proud, almost bittersweet smile before sending them on their way. Very doting, still feels the urge to shelter the Tenno.

Eidolon Lotus: Ghostly tendrils emerge from her to poke playfully at the Tenno as they approach, catching them off-guard before sweeping them up in a tight, almost suffocating hug. Very expressive, very curious, she watches the Tenno as they stumble away.

Bonus Drifter Variant: Drifter kneels before her, and kisses the back of her hand. A callback to Duviri and how it was the Lotus' hand that broke them out of their spiral.

Now I rememberrrr. When they first showed the "Hug Cavia" feature on a Devstream the prompt was titled something like "Show Affection"........... It's "Offer Comfort" now but the point still stands: WE NEED LOTUS HUGS RIGHT NOWWWWWW

Lotus' dialogue in Hidden Messages (the quest to build Mirage) is really interesting cuz the first time I listened to them, I thought she was reciting someone else's memories during the Old War (her "I'm not sure I want to know what happens next" line). But now I'm convinced: This quest is much more interesting if it's about Lotus remembering her forgotten memories. It makes her sound like she's having a certified Lesbian moment with a sentient Mirage.

[Transcript:

I see the Sentients crashing down on her, dying in overwhelming numbers. Now she's out of energy. I'm telling her to go but she's laughing, tearing their heads off as they swarm.

It's dark. I see the glow of restraints around the Warframe. I'm trying to surge the revive system but I can't, I'm too far away. A great, faceted eye watches her.

I tell her I won't lose her. That I have another ship on its way. She is smiling because she knows I am lying.

I see the eyes open and the heat blinds me. I hear her comforting me, telling me not to despair as the Warframe disintegrates and I lose her, forever.]

You see it... right? The familiarity they share?? How can the Lotus tell when Mirage is smiling? How can Mirage tell that Lotus is lying? Why does Lotus panic so hard? Lotus is supposed to be a mission leader and handler, why does Mirage take the time to soothe her?

All of this can be hand waved away by Hidden Messages being an old quest but IDGAF. Your Honor she FUCKED that frame.

actually maybe for horny reasons the Lotus system can "split" from the main body (eg, Margulis figuring out how to use their Sentient Mimic powers to "exist separately" in the same room as Lotus while she's trying to focus on work)

BUT they still hear each other's thoughts AND feel what the other is feeling.

So it's essentially Sexy Plural Shapeshifter Sensory Sharing ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

It's more fun if there's a catch though..... If one of them cums they both feel it but their body didn't account for this nonsense so they both short-circuit and pass out.

And Natah's forced to (very irritated-ly) pick up their pieces and subsume them properly into one body again. She melts them back into the Black Goo that is their Sentient "units of life" and shapes them back into her body.

It's very weird. Our Space Moms are weird.
