leo needs his old friends back in his life. people like amy and elly, jack, chloe, ned and glen. people who called him out on his shit. who never let him get away with pretending to be fine when he wasn't and who pushed him to open up and be honest about his feelings and whatever he was struggling with and who knew he wasn't as strong as he pretended to be. people who never pushed him to forgive those who hurt him but rather, tried to make sure that he didn't do anything to hurt them and instead, was able to handle how he felt in a way that was healthier and better for him.

obviously people can lose interest in shows and quit them for whatever reason they want but... i don't know, i just think it's extremely interesting that death in paradise viewers, some death in paradise viewers anyway have watched this show for 13 seasons, 13 years and with 4 different white leads where the non-murder mystery story was often centred around them and things like, desperately wanting to return to england, finding and falling in love again (actually the main one when you think about it), dealing with family and family issues and connecting with community and yet, mervin, the first black lead of the series being on the show for 1 season only and having a story centred around finding a way to connect with his birth mother (and the island he's from) who gave him up when he was a baby and who was murdered before he ever had a chance to meet her and her murder not only being what helps him gradually connect with her and those around him but is also a season long mystery is where people decided they were going to draw the line and say enough is enough and they want out. really?
why is this fandom acting like seb & fallon held a gun to krista's head and forced her to believe that leo cheated on her? they didn't. yes, they lied to her and yes, there was a lot manipulation going on but krista chose to believe that absolute worst of leo all by herself. she chose to believe that he cheated on her and rather than going off and confronting him about it, she went and had sex with someone else instead and then excused it as "it happened because i was in pain" like, you were in pain because YOU believed your fiancé would do that to you, not because he actually did anything. there's a reason why leo called out her on the fact that she's been carrying on about him not trusting her and then when push came to shove, she immediately believed the worst of him. that's why this happened.
