the concept of a child inquisitor is very fucked up (said in the tone of someone clearly considering adding it to their worldview)

because it COULD happen. to me it’s believable. a child could be the only one to survive the conclave (obviously not the most standard place for a kid to be but there could extremely easily be mage children, servant children, etc.) and if they had the anchor they WOULD have to be ferried across the most dangerous parts of thedas to seal rifts and they MIGHT still be seen as the herald of andraste and set up as the inquisitor and carefully guided to pass judgements and rally forces while their advisors handle the decisionmaking. i do not believe any of those people would step in to stop this.
